General Hospital spoilers tease that Nicolas Bechtel is returning to General Hospital as Spencer Cassadine, the son of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) who debuted in October.

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Will Reappear The Week Of January 20

Spencer, and Nicolas, will reappear the week of January 20 although the exact date has not yet been released. He last appeared on April 16, 2019. Spencer is the only son of Nikolas Cassadine and the late Courtney Matthews, (Alicia Leigh Willis).

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is his uncle, and since Nikolas was presumed dead around three and a half years ago, Spencer has been in the care of his maternal grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and attending school in France, with a few trips back to Port Charles, not always sanctioned by his grandmother!

GH Spoilers – Many General Hospital Fans Suspected That Spencer Cassadine Knew His Father Was Alive

Many fans suspected that Spencer knew his father was alive since he knew he was alive the first time Nikolas tried to fake his death, shortly before the trip to Cassadine Island where he was discovered by Ava Jerome, (Maura West) sitting next to him on the plane and Nikolas going by the alias “Niall Carradine”.

However, in more recent General Hospital episodes it has been confirmed that Spencer was not contacted by Nikolas during the time he was presumed dead and in hiding, and he believed that his father was dead like everyone else did, including Laura and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Will Be Angry With Nikolas Cassadine

Spencer will be angry with Nikolas for not letting him know he has been alive for all this time, and Ava and Nikolas, who got married in a recent episode of General Hospital, are expected to fly to France together to tell Spencer in person. Spencer may even reject and possibly disown his father similarly to the way Ava’s daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) had Ava at one point, so this episode will be one full of drama and confrontation.

Spencer was a child when his father left, now he is a young man in his mid-teenage years, if General Hospital writers have him the same age as Nicolas is in real life, fifteen as of February 15, 2020. If he retains the bravado of his childhood, he may even challenge his father to a duel! Nikolas will be looking for his son to be thrilled that he is alive, and instead may face the sorrow of rejection by his only son!

      I always thought he was exceptionally rude and elitist. He would make fun of poor people and the “townies”. It really ticked me off when the adults in the room didn’t check him when he was being an A Hole especially to other adults.
