General Hospital Alum Hayley Erin Gives Some Love Back To GH Fans

Fans were ecstatic when news broke that Haley Erin was returning to “General Hospital” as Kiki Jerome for a brief arc. No wonder, viewers were all tuned in when her episode aired last August 23. After her scenes aired, the American actress took to social media to thank her fans for all their support. She also had a special message to her on-screen mother Maura West, who plays Ava Jerome.

Hayley Erin’s Sweet Message To Her Fans and Maura West

On her Instagram post, she said, “Thanks for the love @generalhospitalabc fam!! PS. @maurawest, I love you with my whole heart ❤️ #gh.” This was the caption in her post where she uploaded a selfie and another photo where West can be seen giving Erin a big peck on the cheek.

Viewers may recall that Kiki was brutally murdered by serial killer Ryan Chamberlain back in 2018. Since her death, her mother Ava has been trying to find ways to talk to her spirit and earn daughter’s forgiveness.

Ava first hired psychic Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright) but she wasn’t able to give her the closure she wanted. Instead, Kiki made it clear that she doesn’t want to talk. Chelsea Lambas (Jen Ray) also told Ava that Kiki wasn’t in a forgiving mood.

Kiki Jerome’s Return

On August 21, Kiki first invaded Ava’s dream. Her brief appearance left Ava with so many unanswered questions. On August 23, Kiki reappeared on Ava’s dream, but she remains unforgiving towards her mother. She remained cold despite Ava’s plea for forgiveness. Instead of helping her mother find peace, Kiki continued to remind her of her past mistakes.

Kiki might not be the one to pave the way for Ava to find the kind of peach she’s been looking for. According to “General Hospital” spoilers, Ava will get a passionate letter Ryan on August 30. If Ryan pulls off a prison break and gets to kill Ava, the latter will finally be with her daughter. If that happens, maybe she’ll get the closure that’s she’s been looking for.

Erin has been keeping herself busy after her exit from “General Hospital.” She’s now part of the cast of “The Perfectionsts” as Taylor Hotchkiss. Fans may not be happy that her character was killed off but the actress had a different thing in mind. In a previous interview back in May, she said “I take it as a compliment they didn’t want to bring in another Kiki. It worked for the story, and I got to move on to this new chapter.”
