General Hospital Alum Ilene Kristen Lands Exciting New Gig

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ilene Kristen has landed a new gig. The actress is joining the cast of the audio soap opera titled, Forever and a Day.

Forever and a Day is on its third season and will feature a few casting additions. One of such is the upcoming debut of Kristen on the soap. Nothing has been revealed as to what role she’ll take but it’s been revealed that her character will shake up a major storyline.

Kristen is scheduled to appear in a multi-episode arc that’s set to air this summer. She’ll be working with Colin Harper, Elizabeth von Isser, Katelynn Harper, and Lucina Prescott.

Forever and a Day Boss Welcomes Kristen

Creator/Co-Head Writer/Co-Executive Producer, Casey S. Hutchison opened up about Kristen’s addition to the soap’s cast lineup. She said, “Working with Ilene last year was like watching a master-class unfold. She is a one-of-a-kind trailblazer, and an overall fabulous person!”

“I can’t wait for our fans to see how she’ll keep the citizens of Augustus on their toes!” she continued.

Candice Mack, who takes on the role of Danielle Fraser and the soap’s co-executive producer and co-head writer is also thrilled to have her on the soap.

Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be in shock once she sees the steamy video that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) leaks. The latter will frame the former as the person who leaked the clip. Esme will make it look like it’s a vengeful move made by Trina against Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). The pair will feel humiliated because they can’t believe that their friend, Trina, can do such a thing. They may eventually suspect that it’s all Esme’s doing.
