in 2006, Jay Pickett acted so well as Lorenzo Alcazar, that he later returned to the soap as Detective David Harper for two years. Fans might recall him acting in Days of Our Lives as Dr. Chip Lakin. Soap Opera News reported that he also noted that Jay “wrote the story and starred in it. He was also a co-producer with myself and Vernon Walker. He will be truly missed. Ride like the wind partner.”
The General Hospital alum married Elena over thirty years ago. Between them, they raised Maegan and Michaela, Plus, they have a son named Tyler. Born in Spokane 60 years ago, Jay was raised in Caldwell Idaho. Later, he attended Boise State Univerity and later studied at UCLA. Married in 1985, his acting career really took off and he made a great success of it. Actually he hardly ever sat out between the various productions and had a very productive time in front of the camera.
