Monaco’s Legendary Run On Port Charles

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Monaco entered the land of Port Charles as Sam McCall in 2003, which made it more than a shock when it was announced she was leaving the show in the summer of 2024.

Sam ended up getting killed off at the hands of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on October 30, 2024, when the character had a heart attack due to a dose of digitalis.

Her demise was as final as a character passing could get; however, in the land of soaps, people coming back from the dead is very common, so only time will tell if Sam ever returns to the canvas.

Monaco also worked on General Hospital’s sister soap, Port Charles, before her stint as McCall, playing Livvie Locke from 2000 to 2003.

The actress is also known for winning the first season of the reality television dancing competition, Dancing with the Stars. In addition, she was Playboy’s ‘Playmate of the Month’ for April 1997.

On behalf of everyone here at CTS, we send our heartfelt congratulations to Kelly for this amazing milestone. Keep it up! Share your best wishes below!
