Also known as Ethan Lovett on “General Hospital,” Nathan Dean Parsons has kept himself busy since his departure from the show. Apart from catching him on “Roswell, New Mexico,” Lovett’s fans can always watch him this coming September on Crown Media’s streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now where his latest Hallmark movie, “A Feeling of Home” is scheduled to be aired.

What’s It About?

The movie’s synopsis reads, “The host of a New England web series, Abby (Jonna Walsh) is set to launch her own line of home products. All she needs is a few more authentically northeastern webisodes and the deal is done. But Abby’s roots are actually in Texas, and now she must return to her dad’s ranch to help him.”

“Surprised to find her former boyfriend Ryan (Nathan Dean Parsons) is the ranch manager, Abby is soon swept up in their old chemistry. Torn between her Texas roots and her New England aspirations, Abby must decide where she belongs – with work in the northeast, or deep in the heart of Texas.”

The film, which premiered back in May, was part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Summer event. This heartwarming movie was filmed in Canada under the direction of Richard Gabai.

His Days on General Hospital

Back to his days on “General Hospital,” Parsons auditioned for a role but didn’t get the part. However, the show created a new character for him. He debuted his character, Ethan Lovett, on January 2009. At first, he got the part on a recurring basis but was then moved to a contract role. Because of his impeccable performance, he was dubbed as “one of daytime’s most riveting young characters” by Soaps In Depth magazine.

Much to fans dismay, Parsons announced that he won’t be renewing his contract with “General Hospital” back in 2011. His final scenes were aired on March 2012, but he had an open-ended storyline for a possible return. He reappeared on 2013 to take part in the show’s 50th Anniversary celebration. He reprised his character once again for two episodes back in 2015.

Parsons’ other TV credits include “True Blood,” “The Originals,” and “Once Upon A Time.”
