Anderson shared that he’s been friends with Burton for a long time. But he also admitted that they, too, have disagreements, including about Steve’s decision not to get vaccinated.

But with the countless discussions they have had in the past about different things, there are times when they agree on things and times when they don’t. Even so, they still remain friends.

“And that’s like the greatest thing for me and what we do. It’s that we are friends first and we have great respect for each other,” Burton said.

General Hospital News – New Opportunities

Burton also revealed that several media outlets have approached him about having an interview but he declined them because he didn’t want to cause any division. He hinted that new opportunities are coming in but he didn’t give out that much about what his future plans are.

As for those who have been disappointed by his departure, Burton said, “I know people are frustrated. I know people are angry, I know all these things. Just so you know, I’m OK.”

Both Burton and Bradford were in good spirits as they were doing the podcast. They discussed many things including their plans for comedy shows and collaborations with their fans.

GH News – Carly Corinthos Hopes Jason Morgan Isn’t Dead

Fans already know that Steve Burton has left General Hospital, which was why his character, Jason Morgan, was presumed dead following the tunnel collapse in Cassadine Island. If there’s one person who’s still holding out hope that he’s alive, it’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Both Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will lean on each other after learning about Jason’s demise. There’s a part in Carly that still thinks Jason may be alive since nobody was found. But Sonny feels otherwise.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will still manage to share some warm moments after receiving the grim news about Jason. But Sam has to deal with a difficult task and that is to tell Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) that his father is dead. It’ll break her heart to be the bringer of bad news but Dante offered to tell Danny about what happened to his father if Sam wants.
