Cameron Mathison’s – Statement

GH spoilers and news reveals that on July 31, 2024, Cameron and Vanessa released a statement on Instagram. That statement announced they were separating after 22 years of marriage. It appears to be a civil separation, which is good since there are children involved. The statement reads,

“After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways. We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together. Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority, and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them.” 

GH Spoilers – Meeting Vanessa Mathison

According to Us Weekly, Cameron and Vanessa met in 1998 in New York City. The two were at a local gym and romance sparked just one year later.  In July 2002, Cameron and Vanessa tied the knot.

Just two years ago, the couple celebrated their 20th anniversary. That’s practically a record in Hollywood! At the time, Cameron wrote on Instagram,

“20 years of marriage. 240 months of morning coffee together, 1043 weeks of cherishing each other, 7035 days of togetherness, 175,320 hours of love, and 1 beautiful family❤️.” 

Cameron added that he had no idea how Vanessa put up with him for 20 years.

GH Spoilers – Cameron Mathison’s Children

Cameron and Vanessa share two children together: Lucas, 21, and Leila, 18. Earlier this month, Cameron talked about having a magical summer vacation with his children. At the time, Cameron explained that big things are happening with his kids,

“Magical trip through AZ so far with my two loves. This fall, Lucas is off to London for Foundation Program at Central St Martin fashion design. And Leila is off to American University in Paris for psychology. Every moment is so precious.”

In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Cameron mentioned that they try to be totally honest with their children.
