Jack Brennan’s Exit
According to Soap Opera Network, sources note that WSB Chief Brennan is slated to exit Port Charles this fall. Apparently, Brennan will be killed off.
As of this writing, neither McKenna nor General Hospital has made an official statement about Brennan’s departure. There’s also no official last airdate for the character as of yet.
Brennan has his hands in many pots on the canvas and has become a vital player in the daytime drama.
Not only is he the head of WSB operations in the little town, but he’s also got a new steamy romance with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and is working closely with her daughter, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), as the congresswoman has helped add funding to the spy organization.

McKenna has been playing Jack Brennan since February 2025, stepping in as the recast for Charles Measure, who originated the role in December 2023.
Brennan was a mystery to many people when he first entered storylines and developed a steamy romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Unfortunately, that fizzled when he recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), to the WSB.
McKenna is best known for his run on One Life to Live (OLTL) playing Joey Buchanan, a part he was in from 1990 to 1993.
