General Hospital Coming and Goings: Drew Cheetwood Returns As Milo

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Drew Cheetwood is about to return as Milo Giambetti. Milo and his brother Max Giambetti (Derk Cheetwood) were two of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) men that fans very quickly came to love. Milo last appeared in 2019. Unfortunately, his return won’t be for a happy occasion.

Sonya Eddy’s Tribute Episode

General Hospital spoilers reveal in January that there would be a special episode dedicated to Sonya Eddy’ who passed away on December 19, 2022. Eddy portrayed the beloved Epiphany Johnson, former head nurse at GH since 2006. Eddy was only 55 when she passed from complications after an elective surgery.

Cheetwood also debuted in 2006 as one of Sonny’s bodyguards. Milo eventually got up the nerve to ask Epiphany out and she accepted. Milo and Epiphany were together until he left the show in 2019. Cheetwood moved to the midwest after leaving the show but has returned to California for this episode. Of course, Milo and Epiphany had broken up and he was traveling across the country at last mention.

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Cheetwood’s Tribute To Sonya Eddy

Drew posted a photo of himself outside Prospect Studio explaining his return and as a tribute to Sonya. “Yesterday’s episode was a tough one to film. We lost an amazing human being in December unexpectedly. Sonya Eddy lit this world up with an incredible light. She was so many beautiful things to so many people. We’ll miss her greatly.

Yesterday, I was asked to help pay tribute to that light. After all the show has given me, it was such an honor to give back in this way.” Of course, fans loved the romantic dynamic between Epiphany and Milo. Epiphany was never shy about praising her “Magic Milo” as he danced with “The Wands” during several Nurses’ Ball episodes either.

GH Spoilers: Sonya Eddy’s Tribute Episode Airs In March

Eddy’s upcoming tribute episode will air in March. Since Drew’s post was very recent, it should be about the middle of March when the episode will be seen. Of course, fans are curious as to how Epiphany will be written out of the show since she is currently supposed to be looking for schools to get the training she needs to become a doctor.

Epiphany’s current love interest has been Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father. Fans will certainly miss the force of life that was Epiphany. Epiphany touched a lot of lives in her time at GH. Of course, Sonya had guest appearances in many shows over the years before landing this role. The hallway of General Hospital will be a little less light without Epiphany and Sonya’s presence.

Fans will be thrilled to see Milo back on the show, too bad he is there to say goodbye to the love of his life instead of a reunion episode.
