ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that there are some bombshell changes in the cast to report for the week of September 7, 2020. Some big names are both coming and going and we have all of the chatter for you right here.

General Hospital spoilers – A fan favorite is returning to the canvas
First off, Nathan Parsons will come back to town as Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) son, Ethan Lovett. There is a huge mystery taking place at the moment regarding Holly’s “death.” Are rumors of her demise premature?
Parson debuted in the role in 2009 and came and went until 2015. We last saw him after Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) Luke and Holly went looking for their sons who had been kidnapped.
General Hospital spoilers – A welcome face returns to Port Charles
Also returning is star actress Vernee Watson as Stella Henry. She is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) aunt and has worked as a social worker in town. She left after finding a relative in Europe and presumably has been getting to know them better. We last saw the lovely lady in March. She may return to see Mike before he passes or after his demise. Then again she may just pop up for a visit to give Curtis heck, something she does best!
General Hospital spoilers – Port Charles has had an influx in the population
We have also seen Paulina Lule as top cop Valerie Spencer. She has been busy lately with two front burner police matters, Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) disappearance and Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death.
ESPN sports commentator Stephen A. Smith is back as Brick, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) security expert. This week he will share a drink with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright.)

Chloe Lanier is off the canvas as Nelle Benson who presumably died after falling off a cliff. Did she really?
Joe Flanigan exited after his character Neil Byrne had a little too much of Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) charms. He came on board as her therapist in 2019 and along the way helped her daughter get out of a cult. Fans were shocked to see the good doc go. Maybe he has a twin out there somewhere?

I always thought Sonny would turn out to be Spinelli's Dad but it didn't happen. I would love it if Nina turned out to be his mom.
On another note, where is Genie Francis? They haven't fired her again have they?
I used to look forward to watching GH.now I could careless. The writing is subpar and it doesn't have that feeling of I cant wait till the next episode.
I think it's time to end the Wiley thing. It's getting old. Just go on with it. Tired of Anna whining. Don't bring back the twin. No Robert and Olivia
Great idea Matt! Spinelli as Nina's son would really make an interesting story line! That would be a hell of a journey for both characters to explore!
