General Hospital Spoilers: Chad Made A Sudden Announcement On Instagram
Chad made the sudden announcement on Instagram, and the news spread like wildfire over social media-including another duplicate announcement on X, formerly Twitter. “After many incredible years with General Hospital, I’ve decided to step away from the show-this wasn’t an easy decision for me, but it feels like the right time in my life. I’m beyond grateful to Frank Valentini, the cast, crew, and everyone behind the scenes who have been like family to me throughout this amazing journey”.
To his fans, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and for letting Michael Corinthos be a part of your lives. Your love and encouragement has meant the world to me :), this isn’t a goodbye—it’s a see you later-much love, Chad”.
GH Spoilers: Fans Were Shocked, Co-Castmates Posted Well-Wishes
His onscreen sister Eden McCoy, who plays Josslyn Jacks was the first response on Instagram, she posted a simple “I love you”. A fan, “I’m sorry to see you go, you have brought such amazing depth to Michael, and you are an amazing actor. I wish you all the best and hope you come back soon”. Another fan, “You will always be remembered as the best Michael there had ever been-I feel like I’ve watched you grow up; thank you for that privilege! Wishing you all of the success, blessings & happiness in the world;” many others mirroring those sentiments in addition to being sorry to see him go.

General Hospital Spoilers: Tweeters Weigh In
On X, formerly known as Twitter, his fans there pretty much mirrored the responses on Instagram, showing he has been a well-loved actor as Michael Corinthos these past years. One tweeted,” Chad, like I tell all of my friends and family and I will tell you this as well-first we will miss you..you have grown up in front of our eyes. And second when one door closes it’s going to be hard to see it close but when that other door opens ..trust in yourself and go through it”.
No word yet from Chad other than those two social media post announcements, although he made clear his exit is permanent; although, he seemed to imply other projects awaited.

Since it’s his choice I would like to say that he too is sick of the idiotic storylines. I just wonder if they will recast , let him run off and be a deadbeat dad, kill off the character.
