The last we saw of Mayor Laura Collins, she was sent into hiding by the WSB along with her half-brother, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), because their crazy brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had put a hit on them. When Laura returns to Port Charles, does that mean the danger is over?

Cyrus has been making his presence known again in little ways and contacted Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to welcome him back to the land of the living — and let him know that he may be in prison, but he’s still around. Why would the WSB think that Laura and Martin are safe enough to come home? Do they just decide to do it on their own?

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Has Mess After Mess To Clean Up

Laura’s family has not been doing very well without her around. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has essentially turned into a sociopath at this point since he is relentless in his stubbornness around Spencer because nothing can stand in the way of his relationship with Ava Jerome (Maura West) — not even his son.

Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) has also gotten himself in a fine mess by being the person who had been stalking Ava all along. It may have seemed like harmless pranks, but they weren’t harmless at all, especially when he got Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) involved. Laura will show her disappointment in her son and grandson in typical Laura ways and they better watch out because when Laura is angry, it’s best not to defy her.

With Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) spending months in close contact with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) while in hotel jail, is her husband safe from his psychopath twin brother who has something to do with Esme? Laura will be returning to all these hanging stories and she can be the one who fixes it all. Maybe the reason Port Charles is such a hot mess right now is that its mayor has been missing in action for way too long. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see why Laura makes her comeback.
