General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal writers chose to have Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) killed on Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) in Port Charles orders years ago. In a fitting turning of the tables, Duke will return in a ghostly appearance after Julian’s death. Will Duke get the honor of sending Julian on his way to hell?
General Hospital Spoilers – Julian Jerome’s Final Scenes
General Hospital’s Julian has been under attack by a stranger while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was trying to get information out of him. Julian went down in the attack and could certainly have been hit by the assailant’s shot. Julian has managed to escape and is rumored to ask a stranger for help. Unfortunately for Julian, that stranger could very well be someone working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Wants To Kill Julian Jerome
General Hospital’s Sonny has just told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he wants to shoot Julian himself. Duke worked for Sonny and they were very close. Sonny wanted to take out Julian when Duke was killed but he was limited by Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) untimely arrest. Sonny would dearly love to bring Julian to justice but that may not be the case.
However, we know that someone kills Julian and Ian apparently gets a front-row seat. Julian is the reason that Duke (Ian Buchanan is dead but he’s also the reason Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sulivan) was killed as well. Perhaps fans can expect to see Julian be haunted by these ghostly presences as he lays bleeding out from a gutshot somewhere all along.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Ghosts Have The Final Words
General Hospital’s Julian has already told his sister Ava Cassadine (Maura West) that he will see her in hell. Julian knows there are no pearly gates in his future. Several people who have died because of him may likely show up to have their say. It would be nice if Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) were among those who get to condemn Julian to his deserved fate. However, the only ghost presents that we know for sure is showing up is Duke.
Since the plot has not been revealed fans can only speculate on what they wish to see. Will Duke appear as himself or will the writers get creative and have Duke appear as Saint Peter turning Julian away as we see him descending into Hell assisted by a bunch of ghouls? Duke could even appear as the devil himself welcoming Julian home.
However the writers choose to write this plot, it will be great to see Duke again, even if it is just a ghostly appearance. One has to admit that Julian deserves whatever haunting he receives.
