Kelly Thiebaud’s Shocking Return
According to Deadline, GH viewers will once again see Thiebaud on canvas starting in July; however, they’ve been hush-hush on discussing whether or not she’ll be reprising her Dr. Britt Westbourne character – a role she played on and off since 2012.
Fans may recall that The Britch passed away at the hands of The Hook serial killer, a.k.a. Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Her death was as final as it can get, but at the end of the day, this is the land of daytime drama, where anything is possible.
If the writers can bring back Jake Webber (Hudson West), then they can craft a story to bring Britt back, too! Thiebaud commented on her return to GH by telling Deadline, “It is good to be home.”

The actress made her debut on GH in 2012 as Dr. Westbourne and would end up leaving in 2015, but returning once again from 2017 to 2018, and from 2020 to her final exit in 2023.

She started off as a massive villainess but ended up winning the hearts of GH viewers as Britt went on a road to redemption.
It also didn’t hurt that she had a fiery romance with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who unfortunately exited in 2021 when he was presumed dead, only to return in 2024 … a year after Britt had passed away.
During her time with the soap, she earned two Daytime Emmy nods, back-to-back in 2022 and 2023, in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category, winning the award in 2022.
