General Hospital Comings And Goings: Lexi Ainsworth Finally Returns

General Hospital comings and goings reveal the return of Lexi Ainsworth as Kristina Corinthos and this time it shouldn’t be a false alarm. We were supposed to see Kristina already this summer, but pre-emptions got in the way.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brings Back Sonny Corinthos’s Daughter

One person who has been missing from the Corinthos chaos is Kristina Corinthos, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) oldest daughter with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). The last we heard, she was still a bartender at Charlie’s Pub and was even supposed to be running the place before Sonny Corinthos bought it and gifted it to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy).

In fact, the last time Kristina played any significant role in her father’s life was when she was the one who informed Sonny that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) wasn’t going to show up for their big date on The Haunted Star. That prompted Sonny to sleep with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Of course, Carly did show up for the date and walked right in on Sonny and Nina in the act, which then ended their marriage. Good on Kristina for making that happen.

For some reason, we never saw Kristina when her mother, Alexis, was kidnapped by Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), a woman who once arranged for Kristina to be raped by a cult leader. (Thankfully, Jason Morgan rescued her on time.) Nor did we see Kristina have any reaction to Harmony’s death. Kristina has just been MIA for no real reason, but she finally shows up this week.

G Spoilers – It Looks Like A Happy Kristina Occasion

When Kristina does make an appearance that was delayed by pre-emptions due to the January 6 hearings, her father will be congratulating her, but we do not know why. Does she get a new job now that she doesn’t seem to ever be at Charlie’s anymore. Maybe she can work with Nina at the Metro Court and help stick it to Carly.

At least Lexi Ainsworth got to enjoy life while she was away from the Port Charles scene as she did some traveling through Europe and documented her journeys on social media. Is she back at GH for good to entertain us and bring the Davis girls together again? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to find out.
