General Hospital Comings And Goings: Mayor Laura Collins Is Back But Are Two Stars Exiting?

ABC General Hospital spoilers for the week of November 2, 2020, in Port Charles, New York show that a fan fave, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), is coming back to the screen after being gone too long and two characters may be on the chopping block. Who is coming and who is rumored to be going from General Hospital? We have the skinny for you here GH fans!

General Hospital Comings and Goings

First up, we have terrific news to report and that is that the legendary daytime diva Genie Francis is back to Port Chuck. We last saw her way back in August when bad guy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was having way too much fun menacing the sweet heroine.

Laura is back in time for November sweeps and the word is that she is more determined than ever to take down the ruthless mobster.

But does he have a trick up his sleeve? He is a smooth criminal that’s for sure and we would not put it past him to try and wine and dine the mayor, and maybe even a GH nurse. He got all emotional (for him) when he saw Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) sing at Karaoke night and there is a hot rumor that these two passionate personalities could mutually erupt.

Are two Fan Faves Leaving The Show?

Elsewhere there was consternation this week when speculation was everywhere that two core characters had been let go. William deVry, who plays Julian Jerome, and Emme Rylan, who portrays Lulu Spencer Falconeri were the subjects of the rumor that circulated like wildfire.

At this point in time, neither actor nor the show has confirmed the rumored exits.

Will Emme Rylan And William deVry Leave The ABC Sudser?

Rylan has posted on social media that she is not able to discuss her status with the show right now, saying, “I am not in a position to be able to comment on the work stuff.” At the same time, she told fans that she and her family are putting their belongings in storage and going on a road trip.

In a previous post following the abrupt announcement, she put up a pic of herself being hugged by her family writing that she was having a tough day.

William de Vry has made no such cryptic comments on social media. The situation is fluid GH fans, and we will keep you posted on the latest news as soon as we hear it.
