She is one of Sonny Corinthos’ children and in case you haven’t heard, Sonny has reclaimed his psyche from “Mike.” Smike is no more, that wonderful blend of gentle Mike and thuggy Sonny has dissipated and in it’s wake is a ferocious mobster hellbent on getting back what’s his. But we digress. Look for Kristina to appear in scenes with Ava Jerome (Maura West) who still hasn’t left town despite telling everyone goodbye.

It appears that Ava will ask something of Kristina and it’s an offer she can’t refuse. Will this lead to fans seeing more of the brunette bombshell?

Fans will notice that Sofia Mattsson is absent as Sasha Gilmore. Sasha is pregnant with potent mechanic Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) baby and in real life the actress has just given birth to her own little one.

As a result she is on maternity leave while she looks after and bonds with her first child. Won’t Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) be glad to have pesty Sasha out of her hair!

Now a bit of sad news to report. Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) has left her role after a fantastic three year run as the PCPD commissioner. During which time she royally screwed up investigation after investigation, but hey no one’s perfect, right?

The actress shed some light on her decision to leave in an Instagram post. “I decided it was time for me to move on,” she posted, adding that she has, “nothing but love and support from everyone involved,” with GH.

The departure comes after the character suffered kidney troubles following a hostage situation. She was sent to Albany for treatment and her loved ones will now have to learn to get on without her. But what about the PCPD?
