General Hospital Comings and Goings: Rick Hearst BACK At GH As Ric Lansing

General Hospital spoilers tease that the surrogacy story is about to become even more complicated with the arrival of Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). As long-time viewers know, Ric has quite a few connections in Port Charles.

Hearst will report for duty on July 29th with his first scenes airing the week of August 19th. In an interview with TV Insider, Hearst explained that Ric’s return will tie into his daughter Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos).

Molly and her partner TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are currently expecting a baby via a surrogate, Molly’s half-sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Throughout the course of her pregnancy, Kristina has gotten attached to the baby she’s carrying. She’s actually also the egg donor so in the state of New York, the baby belongs to her unless she signs over the rights.

As the due date gets closer, Kristina may decide she wants the baby herself. With Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) caught between both of her daughters, Ric will certainly be totally in Molly’s corner. But Ric will likely be involved in several other characters’ lives.

GH Spoilers – Ric Lansing is Sonny Corinthos’ half-brother!

Ric and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) share a mother, making them half-siblings. Ric and Sonny have always had a complicated relationship.

And now that Sonny is unknowingly taking placebos instead of his bi-polar medication, his reaction to Ric’s return could become quite volatile.

In addition, Ric has also been involved with both Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who he married in an attempt to get his hands on her fortune. Their marriage was later annulled.

Ric was a staple in Port Charles from 2002 – 2009 and again from 2014-2016. He’s also appeared on Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light, The Young & The Restless and The Bold and The Beautiful.

He won two Emmy’s for his work as Ric Lansing and one for his role of Alan-Michael Spaulding on The Guiding Light. One thing for sure, is Ric will surely cause waves In Port Charles.

Kristina is due to give birth right around the same time Ric returns, so it’s likely that’s not a coincidence!

    I absolutely love Rick Lansing! And I hope he’s back for the long haul! Back in the day when he was a good guy, he and Elizabeth were a great couple. I wouldn’t be opposed to them being paired up again. And sometimes, if the moon and stars was in alignment, he a Sonny actually got along!

    Ric needs to leave it alone.molly should of adopted a baby,they didn’t do any of that to Andrea, that’s how she stole baby tj is a doctor took what she said at face value,they took advantage of Kristina,I think Kristina should keep baby, Molly should go in corner break up with TJ and get real man or woman
