The good news? It’s only temporary! Whew, millions of fans would not be pleased to hear that lovably demented Liesl is leaving Port Charles. She has brought a breath of fresh air, as well as wickedly funny hijinks to the town. Ever since her arrival in town, the residents have not known what to make of the odd lady, but loyal fans have eaten up her wild antics with relish.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kathleen Gati is taking a break from her role as Dr. Liesl Obrecht

All indications are that the lovely and talented thespian is set to take a temporary break from the canvas. We will last see lovely Liesl on April 13, 2020.

The details surrounding her departure are vague. What we do know is that she is departing Port Chuck to journey to The Hague.

She has a few irons in the fire, so some speculation as to her intentions are in order!

GH Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht is nothing if not devious and clever

Liesl is in the middle of plenty of family drama at the moment. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has framed her to take the fall for his evil actions. The evil-doer set her up to pay for his crimes and actions in the memory transfer scheme, as well as harming others.

She was enveloped in the Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) daughter drama and now her sinister daughter Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is back in town causing a ruckus. Britt slept around with fellow baddie Julian Jerome (William deVry) so does this mean that Liesl will be a grandma soon?

Liesl seems to have treachery and deceit in her DNA as you can tell from all of her relations and their naughtiness!

General Hospital Spoilers – What’s next for Liesl Obrecht the lovely doctor aka Krampus?

No doubt Liesl will have a good reason for jetting off to The Hague but we have no doubt that Liesl will be back in plenty of time to scare the kids at the annual GH Christmas party if she so wishes—Remember her wicked portrayal of Krampus?

If the immensely talented actress ever did have a notion to leave GH, loyal viewers would stage a mighty protest, so let’s hope it never comes to that.
