General Hospital Comings And Goings – Stella Henry Takes Charge

Watson, who won an Emmy for playing Stella in 2018, has not been seen on General Hospital since last fall when she returned for Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) funeral after her good friend died of Alzheimer’s. This time she returns for another sad event as nephew Curtis (Donnell Turner) was just shot and doctors are not sure if he is going to make it.

Stella will appear on GH on Monday when she storms into the hospital demanding to know what happened to her nephew. She will learn that Curtis was trying to save Laura (Genie Francis) from Cyrus (Jeff Kober) but then Laura accidentally let on that she saw Curtis sneaking around. Cyrus then grabbed Laura and just after Curtis put down his gun, Cyrus shot the unarmed man point-blank in the chest. Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) then ran in to try to save her husband and shot Curtis in the leg to make sure he couldn’t shoot anyone else.

Aunt Stella is not one to take such news lying down so we expect to see her confront Cyrus for shooting a man who posed no threat to him at that moment.

GH Spoilers – Will Stella Henry Stick Around?

Watson joined GH as Stella Henry in 2017 when she came to town horrified that Curtis was falling for Jordan, a woman she blamed for her other nephew’s death. Jordan was married to Curtis’s brother, Thomas, and had an affair with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). That affair produced TJ (Tahj Bellow) and when Thomas learned TJ wasn’t his, a downward spiral led to his death.

Social worker Stella also became friends with Mike and the Corinthos clan when she was assigned Mike’s Alzheimer’s case. Mike became more than just a client to her and she was there towards the end of his life and for his funeral. Stella and Sonny (Maurice Benard) also became very close, but she never returned for his funeral. Perhaps she knows in her gut Sonny is not dead. Will she stick around Port Charles this time now that her family needs her and Shawn Butler might be getting out of jail? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to find out.
