General Hospital: Charles ShaughnessyGeneral Hospital comings and goings spoilers indicate that General Hospital has added another daytime vet to their lineup of stars. Days superspy Shane Donovan portrayer, Charles Shaughnessy has been cast in a contract role and will appear in September. Who will Charles be playing and what will his role be?

General Hospital Spoilers – Mob War Is Heating Up

With General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) presumed dead, the mob war is heating up in Port Charles. Charles has joined the GH cast and could play a number of roles. The Novak family has moved into Port Charles and is trying to take over the city. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are getting married to strengthen the Corinthos Organization.

However, other mob families could revolt as well and Charles could be connected to one of them. But there are several other roles he could have as well. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) has arrived in town and is trying to take over where his father left off with the family. Could Charles expose Austin as a fraud?

GH Spoilers – Charles Shaughnessy Makes A Great Spy

General Hospital’s Shaughnessy makes a great spy. Charles played the part of Shane for years on Days and took on several different roles while he was undercover. At one point Charles even played a butler. Charles has also been in comedy, he starred in the nanny with Fran Dresher for six seasons. Charles could be the person who has Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) body, or a very much alive Peter and be helping him. Charles could be associated with Alex Marick (Finola Hughes) and be seeking revenge against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

General Hospital Comings & Goings – Could Alistair Durban Have Resurfaced?

General Hospital’s Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) has been held for some time and is presumed dead. However, fans know that Holly is locked in a room somewhere and no one has access to her. Ironically, Hayden Barnes (ex- Rebecca Budig) is missing as well and everyone is starting to search for her again, including Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore).

The timing of Charles’ appearance could play into Hayden’s return as well as Holly’s location being discovered, according to General Hospital comings and goings rumors. Perhaps the person holding Hayden is also the person holding Holly. After all, both Holly and Hayden were known cons and could have gotten caught in a trap of their making. Perhaps both are being held by Holly’s cousin, Alistair Durban (ex- Charles Shaughnessy).

Could Alistair have resurfaced and kidnapped Holly and Hayden for someone? Perhaps the women are being forced to help Alistair pull off a heist of some sort. Is Alistair the person responsible for both women’s disappearances? What could Alistair need from them both?
