General Hospital Fans Outraged Over Nancy Lee Grahn’s IG Post Regarding Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

Many General Hospital fans are outraged over a recent post that actress Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) uploaded on her Instagram handle, regarding the shooting of conservative commentator, Charlie Kirk, which resulted in his death. More on this story, below.

Charlie Kirk’s Assignation

Kirk was the Founder and President of Turning Point U.S.A., host of the Charlie Kirk Show podcast, and toured universities across America encouraging the discussion and debate of political topics and social issues.

A conservative and Christian, the 31-year-old was an advocate of the second amendment in the U.S. Constitution. In addition, he was a husband and father to two very small children.

Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday, September 10 at the Utah Valley University while hosting an event. Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old, was identified as Kirk’s shooter, and was brought into custody on Friday, September 12.

Nancy Lee Grahn’s View

Nancy uploaded a controversial post on Instagram, in the aftermath of Kirk’s passing. The headline read, “I am not in support of what happened to Charlie Kirk, but Charlie Kirk was in support of what happened to Charlie Kirk.”

Many GH fans fled to Lee’s comment section, showing their disgust and disdain for her comments. Some even called for Lee’s dismissal.

Nancy’s former GH colleague, Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jasper “Jax” Jacks), also hopped in the comments and had this to say: “My dear old friend Nancy. Please don’t block me. But I think you should take down this post.”

Rademacher went on to note, “I don’t want to see you get fired. There’s a difference between a political post and something as distasteful as the above comment. Charlie was a husband and a father and his daughter will never see her father again. She is 3.”

It’s no secret that Lee has always been outspoken about her left-leaning political views, as Rademacher has also been very open about his conservative views.

Should Lee get fired from GH for her comments about Charlie Kirk’s passing? Should she take down her IG post? Comment below! Tune into the ABC soap and check out this site often for the best General Hospital updates, spoilers, and news.

Absolutely get rid of this nasty a$$ woman who endorses the killing of a good man simply because his beliefs don’t align with her nasty a$$ self.

  • Barbara

Why is ok with all that he said whatever he believed but now she can’t. Everyone has their own opinion & is free to say it. Let’s ALL stop.

  • Regina

She should have been fired a long time ago. This just adds to everyone dislike of her. Would never wish for her or anyone’s death though. You should be able to disagree and not be as hateful and vindictive as she is ,but there she goes again. So sad to be full of so much hate.

  • Like

She absolutely should, she is vulgar, calling woman’s vagina or names rather then the proper terminology, she has TDS & she’s all about protecting her daughter but cared less about Charlie Kirks daughter and what she posts will forever be in the internet, her children will one day see, fire her words & behavior do have consequences and it won’t change until people like her with big platforms are stopped

  • Elaine

Yes, get rid of her. Enough is enough. She is nasty and hateful and never has a nice thing to say about anyone who is not as far left as she is. If you can’t way something nice keep quiet. How long does this have to continue until she is held accountable for her hurtful comments.

  • Vi

People all over the country are sharing comments very similar to ÑLG’s. Are we focusing on her simply because she’s a celebrity or because she is anti-Trump? While I don’t condone what happened to charlie ki did hear his speech. It was full of hate, racism, homophobia, and misogyny? Nancy did not say she condomed his murder. She did not incite violence. What she’s stating in her opinion is that his speech topics are what

  • Redrage403

I don’t see why she has to post something vile and hurtful just because she thinks of it. I just unexpectedly came upon this.
It would have been so much easier to say nothing.
I haven’t been able to handle her comments for some time now.
Think of how hurtful that is for friends, family and fans to see.
    Unthinkable!

  • Daryla

He was a Christian man who never cursed, drank alcoholic or drugs, who loved his family and country. Charlie would respectfully talk to anyone. He was a force to be reckoned with. Anyone celebrating his death is not human.

  • dabby

she is allowed to feel any way she wants.

  • Heather Mays

Get rid of her! She is a disgusting human being! There is no coming back from that comment.

  • Janet

I have no respect for her right now! She should’ve kept it to herself. Think of the widow & his 2 young children left behind. Firing her might be for the best.

  • CF

Yes everyone is entire to their own opinions but when they are always mean and vile like Nasty Grahn that’s a whole different thing! She should think how her daughter would feel if she god forbid were assassinated because someone didn’t like what she has to say! This man not only had a wife but 2 babies that will never see their father again! Keep those kind of opinions to yourself!

  • Joe Petitjean

Nancy this is no time to post something that Ingo and others totally disagree with

  • Barbara

There were news commentators who have been let go for inappropriate comments. How can GH keep her after those nauseating comments? She is so repulsive, I’ve come to fast-forward through her scenes.

  • Mary Jo

She should absolutely be fired. Her nasty hateful comments have gone on for years and GH has turned a blind eye to them. You have young people employed on your show, what kind of message are you sending?

  • Eileen piazza

Her comments. We’re disgusting just because doesn’t agree with her. He was a good man who had a wife and two little children . And that three year old asked where her daddy was. She should be Fired enough is enough. Let her go from the show.

  • Leia

Nancy seems to think that everybody wants to hear her opinion on everything. I was disgusted with her years ago for voicing her opinion all the time. Yes other people do have opinions. She thinks only her opinion is right. I think it was nice of Jack’s to tell her to take it off. I wouldn’t have done that as a 78-year-old woman, I find it appalling that she who is in the public eye would post that obviously she didn’t care for Charlie Kirk doesn’t matter. He still was young. Had a young wife and little children that won’t even remember having a father. All she had to say was I’m so sorry. Well, even if she isn’t, she don’t have to say mean things I think she should be fired.

  • Dorothy

Well I am not going to lie I am not a fan of Nancy. If I go radishes got fired for not taking a vaccine and that wasn’t hateful just his right, why would you keep someone that spits out hurtful comments about anyone who loves God and does not agree with her views? Many other people got fired because they celebrated Charlie’s death. Why would Nancy be different? She says she didn’t condone his death but does she really feel that way? She said what she said read between the lines. It’s a sad situation and world we live in! Just can’t wait for the second coming. That will be interesting day.

  • Natascha Drew

She should’ve been fired long time ago! Great actress but a vile and disgusting human being! Correction: animal!!

  • Sylvia Crouch

I listened to a few of his speeches and a friend sent some videos, I didn’t agree with this MAGS follower. He made many racist remarks and statements I didn’t agree with. I’m entitled to my opinion and Mr Kirk was entitled to his opinions. It’s what make America free
Should someone be fired for their opinion. NOOOOOOO. There were two children shut in Colorado where was the news about those children.

  • Darlene

Grahn should absolutely be fired for this comment and a multitude of other vile posts. Do the GH execs not realize this is a horrible reflection on GH? That is the only platform on which she is known so her comments give insight to the entire show. Wake up, Producers!

  • Kipp

What did she say that was so wrong? She did not condone his murder. She just stated a fact.

  • catecali

NANCY LEE GRAHN NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL & ABC?????

  • Joan almond

    She needs to be fired.

  • WKMG365

I am a registered Independent. I take the time to get to know the candidates before deciding who to vote for. I did not vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin when they ran; I did not care much for Sarah. That said, when Kelly Monaco competed on DWTS with Bristol Palin, I remember NLG was seated next to Sarah Palin in the audience. And I remember how she whined and complained nonstop about it and had a meltdown. SP wasn’t in the crowd as a potential VP candidate, she was there to watch her daughter perform. But NLG couldn’t let her enjoy it, she went on and on whining and complaining. And now this. She should be fired. But I highly doubt she will be. She’ll give the obligatory fake apology and that will be that…until the next time she says something inappropriate …and gets away with it yet again.

  • JudyInSC

Keep it up NLG…………….your fan base continues to dwindle. When your career has totally imploded and any favorable reputation you may still have managed to maintain has evaporated, all of us will say “……….. Nancy Lee Grahn was in support of what happened to Nancy Lee Grahn.” Do those words sound familiar?????

  • Mich

Nope! She should NOT be fired!!! Did you ever read some of his post!!! I do feel bad the his kids will never see their dad again.

  • Nana

Nancy, you just need to do your job and keep your filthy opinions to yourself! Nobody likes you!

  • Mona

Why is it ok for Charlie and NOT OK for ANYONE with a different view? He said himself that ” Unfortunately there will have to be gun violence to keep our 2nd amendment. Rights” DONT HATE HER JUST REMEMBER WE ALL HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEACH.

  • Mona

Why is it ok for Charlie and NOT OK for ANYONE else? TRUE CHRISTIANS DO NOT HATE OTHERS

  • CF

Celebrity haha she is far from a celebrity! I’ll bet barely anyone who doesn’t watch soaps even knows her name ! A left wing radical is what she is! And no, people are not just focusing on her, they are commenting on her because her comment was posted on here! Anyone with common decency would not have posted what she did! Think it, say it to someone else who believes what you do but she constantly post disgusting things because she thinks everyone should have the same beliefs as her and if they don’t then she degrades them! And as for you comments,VI being a Christian and believing what the bible says doesn’t make you racist, homophobic or anything else you mentioned!

  • Marci

She has said as bad, and even worse things in the past with no consequences. Her hatred for DT and ANYTHING OR ANYONE even remotely conservative, is an obsession. I’ve said for years that anyone with that much hatred in their heart, can’t be a happy person, she has to be miserable and IMO mentally unstable. You can’t live with that kind of vitriol and hate and be a normal, stable person. It has to have an effect on every aspect of your life. No one is saying she can’t have opinions, or express them, but saying she disagrees with someone is totally different than being hateful and nasty because of it. She has been vocally abusive to anyone who dares have a different viewpoint, with superiority and condescension. She has even gone as far as wishing death on Trump and members of his family. No one should be surprised about her most recent comments. I wonder how she would feel if one of her liberal heroes were assassinated, and people said they deserved it because of their words and beliefs. I have always been a little uncomfortable when someone was fired for personal, political beliefs and comments, but many conservatives (newscasters, talk show hosts, actors and actresses) have been let go for one statement. Yet ABC, Disney and GH have overlooked NLG’s hateful and offensive words for years. She’s an excellent actress, but is she so excellent that she can do no wrong in their eyes? Is she irreplaceable, or would the show die if her character did? I don’t think so. I know several people who won’t watch any scene she’s in, and a few who have stopped watching altogether, just because of her. Maybe the question isn’t if they can afford to lose her, but can they afford to KEEP her?

  • WillTrent

CF Says, You are SO spot on with your comments.

  • mewe

Nasty Nancy is Just a with a capital B___h she is a true devil worshiper she must be, to be so heartless about a young man’s life and his family, Charlie had very young children who will never get to know their father. He had a wife who was crazy about him and a Mother and Father, Nancy does not care how they all feel.
Freedom of speech nancy thinks only belongs to her. She is extremely evil! I get sick everytime I see her on GH, knowing she is a very hateful person. She should think she may have children and grandchildren, what would she say if someone said things about her family that she says about others. She is not a christian that is for sure!

  • Branka J

That was the mildest & most truthful thing she could have said. Kirk was a HATE monger. No reason to try and spin it bc it happens to be factual. Conservatives always want to twist the truth bc it’s easier than admitting that their hate baiting cult leader is to blame. 100’ s of mass shootings & many & in schools & they can only muster “thoughts & prayers”. Too bad, you live by the sword you die by the sword. So be happy you complainers, Kirk died living what he did! Remember he said “deaths were inevitable to protect the 2nd amendment”.

  • Stella

It’s time people remember “If you don’t have something good to say, say nothing” Regardless of the situation or your personal feelings, we are all human beings with real feelings. Social media takes the human out of the equation.
Would you say these same words, face to face, with the object of your expression?
“When in doubt, don’t” Don’t express to an inanimate object what you wouldn’t express face to face.

  • CT

Nasty Nancy needs to go. Im disgusted by her comment about Charlie Kirk. Read the room Nancy.

  • Jo

The comment wasn’t necessary. Her timing was terrible. I hope ABC finally takes action. She has a definitive right to her opinion but when her opinions affect the GH brand it’s time ABC took action.

  • Renee

Time to say gooodbye to Nancy-she has been a thorn in many of her casts side-She does have the right to free speech but we have the right to ask for her firing-She has been to vicious on her comments-get rid of her-or maybe we should boycott GH & let it die altogether. All the other soaps on ABC are gone-I hope you have the wisdom seeing all these negative comments that you know what you must do-You fired Kelly for no reason but this B>>>> you keep. Fire her & bring back Kelly

  • Renee

The left was afraid of Charlie because he could have been a candidate for the presidency in 2032. They could not let him live-the vile & discusting remarks we are hearing from the MSM shows the reason their ratings keep going down-& do you want that to happen to GH-I am in my mid 70’s & have been watching GH since I am 16 yrs old-but if it disappears I can live with that-even one commentator got fired for his words why should this women not be fired for her words

  • Eva

Everyone has freedom of speech that is what Charlie Kirk fought for civil discussion of opposing views. Nancy however can’t put her political views aside and have compassion for Charlie’s young daughter and son Who will never see their father again but when they are grown up will see her comments about their father on the internet. I think that she doesn’t have a heart.

  • Stacy

I will no longer support ANY of the Disney company’s including but not limited to ABC, FX, ESPN, NAT GEO, DISNEY÷, HULU, ALL DISNEY MOVIES & SPECIALS, FREEFORM, DISNEYLAND & RESORT, ETC,ETC,ETC!
I have watched GH since 1967 but I am done. I am trashing my movie collection. I will not allow my grandkids or any guests to watch ANYTHING affiliated with them!

  • Deanna

she should be fired just like everyone else who has been for nasty comments about Charlie or the people celebrating his death

  • Melita Pitts

Making a political statement is one thing, but showing disrespect for the dead is different! Get rid of her!

  • Nana55

For her to disrespect a Christian father & husband saying that he brought it on to himself has no empathy for her fellow man. Given Nancy Lee Grahn’s past, which has always caused a lot of public fuss, keeping her on General Hospital would probably cause you to lose viewers. Retaining Nancy Lee Grahn would present significant challenges, as this is not the first instance of her actions generating public scrutiny. Her hate tweets about Viola Davis, If you don’t agree with her she will cut you into pieces as the lowest person on the planet. Getting rid of her, would be the best thing you have done. It’s not like some of us will miss her, for her presents makes her FF her scenes. We know how outspoken she is about her left-leaning political views. She has no moral support, an excessive sense of self-importance, a need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others. She spews to much hatred. Replace her, or kill off her character. Make her the on who shot Drew.

  • Lollyb

GH needs to let Nancy go. No one cares about her opinions. She never had anything nice to say. When I was growing up my momma would tell us “if you don’t have anything nice to say…. Didn’t say anything at all”. Apparently she wasn’t taught that.

  • Kathleen

She absolutely should be fired. She has every right to say what she wants as far as freedom of speech but the job she has I am sure has a morality clause and code of conduct that she clearly destroyed.
I can never look at her again as a character, just an angry, mean person. How can you say that!!
Please replace her, have been watching the show for 47 years but keeping her would make me be done..

  • Maria

She should absolutely get fired. Anyone who makes it seem like what happened to Charlie Kirk was his own fault should be held accountable. If that were the case then Nancy should be shot too for all the hatred she spews online every single day! And when she doesn’t like what you say to her she blocks you! I think GH has put up with enough of her shit in the last 10 years since Trump came into the picture!

  • Mg52

Leave her alone it’s her opinion and she should express it. He had his opinion and he expressed it. He won’t be expressing it anymore.

  • Mg52

This is her opinion not yours you are not forced to read or to listen to anyone that you don’t want to get a life. There’s more important things than judging people. Everyone should just get along. I did not care for him either.

  • Brian

I love the character of Alexis but detest NLG and every vile and disgusting word that usually comes out of her hypocritical mouth. Should she be fired? Absolutely not. And anyone who followed Charlie Kirk would know that he would agree. Kirk was all about free speech and expression of differing viewpoints.

  • Cat

Nancy is a fine actress and her political opinions are hers in her private life which has no bearing on her acting abilities and in no way should GH take action against her rights! Last time I checked, every citizen has the right of free speech. Charlie had the same right too and was allowed to speak his views. Sadly, someone who disagreed with his words, objected to his free speech and shot him. No one has the right to silence an individual’s views. Not Charlie or Nancy.

  • Judy

I’ve seen that same comment on Facebook so it’s nothing new. Why should she be fired over that. This is America and we have a right to say things like that. You may not like it, I may not like it but it’s not worth firing someone over saying it. Stop being so negative on Nancy Lee Graham, you may not like her and that’s your problem. She is a good actress doing her job. Actors that make you hate them are good actors doing their job. Don’t take it so personal.

  • Barbara

FIRE HER! She’s a trouble making leftist who thinks her political views are more important than her impact on her employer.

  • Terese

She should of been fired years ago.

  • Maureen

I agree with her.Charlie Kirk was just an evil hate spewing man. Hate breeds Hate. He is responsible for his own death. He died by a gun that he so supports we all have a right to own. You could say Karma got him.

  • Catherine

At the VERY LEAST her IG account should be DELETED! No one will miss her vile remarks, about EVERYTHING!

  • Catherine

At the VERY LEAST her IG account should be DELETED! No one will miss her vile remarks, about EVERYTHING!

I think she only posts for her ego, to keep her name “out there”, otherwise her relevancy would be ZERO.

  • Dee

Please have her replaced! We are all sick of her far left mania. The powwrs thst be and owners of ABC should dimply either recast her character of have Alexis convicted of some crime or something and write her out. Either way, most people have had to tolerate ger ling enough. PLEASE FINALLY TAKE SOME ACTION!!

  • emly Vansant

Yes, fire her immediately. This is why people do the awful things they do, because of people like her posting such terrible things.

  • Kate

She needs to go. Her outrageous hate filled comments have been unchecked for far too long and this went too far.

  • Dot

Don’t fire her. She is allowed to express herself and I assume is willing to accept the consequences. I doubt anyone will shoot her for it though. She is a person of very little note or consequence. Hopefully, her nasty remark will serve to further diminish her status with GH viewers.

  • Sweet Mama Jo

She has every right to state her opinions. That being said, she also has to deal with the opinions of others that have a right to state their opinions. We all should be able to have our own opinions without being shot at and assassinated. To all the people that showed happiness by this assassination, I sincerely hope you get mental health help.

  • Cherie

    She needs to be fired

  • Diana

Fire her, if she has an opinion she should keep it to herself!!! Another hateful comment & needs to keep her mouth shut!

  • Shea

She did not endorse what happened to him and just like he had the right to express his thoughts about people she has the same right to express hers.

  • eden Cox

There is nothing wrong with what she said. She stated that she did not support what happened to him. What is wrong with that. She went on to say he did support what happened to him. He said as much. He was a strong supporter of gun rights and claimed that gun deaths were worth it to protect them. Should he be exempt from that? It’s OK to shoot innocent children but not Charlie? So what exactly is wrong with what she said?? Conservatives love to attack Nancy because she is a liberal and very vocal about her views. They attack her on a regular basis. Charlie Kirk was a strong supporter of free speech so he would not have a problem with what she said, especially because it is true. Anyone who thinks there should be consequences for what she said is a hypocrite. I don’t agree with Charlie that gun deaths are worth not having sensible gun laws that would at least reduce them. I don’t believe he deserved what happened. Neither does Nancy Lee Grahn so there is nothing wrong with what she said.

  • Ed

Please fire her.she needs to learn words have consequences .hateful woman
    Hate

  • Shannon Johnson

    Please fire her. Please!

  • sooz

    Fire her

  • Maryann

She should be fired just like all the other hateful people. She has no class.

  • Nancy

I agree. I mean everyone else who said ignorant things against Charlie have been fired so shes no different. Please see to it that shes removed. Her acting is horrible anyways. I’m getting whiplash just watching her flip her head so many times to clear her bangs out of her eyes—–Please REPLACE

  • Ashley Jensen

Fire Nancy Leigh Grahn immediately. Her comments on Charlie Kirk are what’s wrong with America today. I am done with ABC with Kimmel and General Hospital insensitivity.

  • Carol

I deleted and cancelled Hulu over this. I’m sick of supporting people and networks that support this BS. Young and the Restless is going to be next. They know who she is spewing hate too! If nothing is done by CBS, Paramount is next.

  • Trish

I will not watch GH again until I hear she has been fired. Please join me

  • PJ

I also think she should be fired, why is she any different from the other folks that were fired for their awful comments. Why do you keep letting her get away with here awful comments? I would not miss her if she was fired.

  • Diana

I just fast forward her each time she comes on, can’t stand her!

  • Joanna

Be careful what you say and be nice to each other’s!!!!

  • Tracy

I have been a GH fan, since the Luke and Laura days. A serious fan of the show. Also, I have never commented on anything in my life. But, I find myself having to reply to this. I have always enjoyed the character of Alexis. Nancy is an extremely talented actress. I’ve always tried to keep separate, some of the things she has said, and her character on the show. Having said this, I believe that she should be fired from General Hospital. This is not because of Trump, Republicans or Democrats or even Charlie Kirk, himself! It’s about character! Compassion for your fellow human beings. Anyone who says, something like that, when a wife lost her husband and 2 children will never know their father, should be fired. It is unfortunate, but I feel very strongly about this. I won’t just skip her scenes, I will quit watching a show I have loved for years. Please, General Hospital, do the right thing.
