General Hospital Franco and Elizabeth’s Wedding Approaches, Will Her Family Be At The Wedding?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) wedding guest list is getting shorter by the day. As a matter of fact, Franco has given up hope of getting Jeff and Sarah Webber to attend what is supposed to be the happiest day of his life. What’s more, many fans can’t help but wonder if any of Elizabeth’s family members will visit Port Charles to attend the wedding as well.

According to ABC Soaps In Depth, there’s speculation that fans might see some familiar faces reprise some key roles in the coming weeks. After all, Elizabeth is General Hospital royalty. Her grandfather, Dr. Steve Hardy, was one of the soap’s original characters.

Yet, Liz doesn’t have much contact with her immediate family these days. Her father Jeff has been absent for most of her adult life and her sister Sarah hasn’t been around in almost two decades.

At this point, it’s unlikely that actor Richard Dead Anderson, who played the original role of Jeff back in the early 1980s, would return to reprise his role. But there is speculation that All My Children alums Michael E. Knight or Grant Aleksander might fill in his shoes.

Elizabeth might have a complicated family life, but it would be all too strange if no one showed up on her wedding day. But then again, would she want her dysfunctional family reunited on the day that she is supposed to marry Franco? Perhaps not, but as soap fans already know, anything can happen at anytime!
