General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) talked at a recent fan event about the presumed dead character Jason Morgan. Jason perished in a cave-in and fans have not stopped hoping that he returns to the land of the living one day.
The reason behind Jason’s demise is that his portrayer, Steve Burton, declined to get the Covid vaccine and was let go from the ABC sudser. Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) was also let go for the same reason.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Wright Is Speaking Out About Jason And Carly
Before Jason left the Port Charles, New York sudser, he married Carly. Naturally fans were quick to ask Laura about the past plot. At the fan event one fan wanted to know if Wright thought Jason was the love of Carly’s life?
She said, “I wouldn’t say ‘the love of her life.’ She didn’t have a ‘life’ with Jason. He was always ‘the friend.’ When they thought they were going to [spend their lives together], Sonny came back. What I find amazing about that storyline is that [Sonny and Carly] were apart for nine months. She started to create a life [without him]. He [also] had a whole other experience.”

Wright went on to talk about the present day and not the past: “who are these people right now? I love it. I think it’s fascinating.”
Jarly got married when they thought that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was dead. He might as well have been, he was living in Pennsylvania. Sonny thought he was a man named Mike because his memories left him and he had amnesia. He ended up being taken in by a couple who owned a bar and there he stayed until suddenly his memory returned and he came back to town. That was after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) found him and carried on an emotional affair with him.
In the present time Sonny and Carly are facing a divorce and Laura thinks the breaking point came after Jason’s death. “This is happening when Jason’s gone. Without that third part, their lives have fallen apart. I think there’s a part of Sonny who doesn’t know how to function without Jason.”

Benard was at the same function and he agreed with Laura’s assessment of CarSon’s troubles: “[It’s] Jason for sure. Ask my [late] dad. He knew that for five years.” The show will finally have a memorial for Jason—tell us fans, does this mean he is truly dead?

I miss the old days with sonny Jason with Steve and Maurice and not all this bull story is dragged on..if sonny was there found and no menoriew and Jason and Carly then that’s bad . Was Jaxsfault and Carly fault in the beginning and If Nina and jaxs never dated and Carly found news of Nina past .and never left valentine she wouldn’t left and get revenge and steal sonny away.

A mess up story life story line and Maurice to a break and came back to rest life as mike.
Steve and Maurice said Maybe they didn’t want to stay no more so it’s gh abc fault not making all happy and the accuses of the covid test and work or don’t work.and us fans suffer.with out sonny or Jason together is no fun a Carly as no guy and now doing it with drew is stupid.

Yes, Jason needs to come back. Then maybe they’ll stop shoving the Sonny/Nina storyline down our throats.
Loved the storyline that was developing with Jason and Brit. They were great together.
After watching GH for nearly 45 years I’ve now stopped watching it. The storylines have become ridiculous and just absurd. And then they drag the storylines on forever.
We were ready for Peter to be gone a year ago….but that went on and on and on!
We waited for close to a year for Sonny’s return only to this absurd and disgusting story with Nina carry on. Sonny who has always put family first and would do anything for his family now doesn’t seem to care and is more interested in pleasing Nina.
It’s about time Nina’s psycho side comes out again and maybe Sonny will become a man again and pull his family back together. Because right now Sonny is a pathetic excuse for the man he USED to be.
Need Jason true but when sonny gone everyone wanted him back with Jason and Carly and then they screwed it up
