General Hospital (GH) Spoilers & Rumors: Hamilton Finn’s Paternity Discovery Ends In Tragedy?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that despite Jackie Templeton’s (Kim Delaney) pleas to leave it alone, that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will remain determined to find out if Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is his son, and not his younger brother as they all believed.

Although Jackie never had a paternity test done on General Hospital, she told Finn that in every way that mattered, his father Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is Chase’s father. Jackie thinks that if Finn discovers Chase is his son, that telling Chase or Gregory will cause unnecessary pain.

General Hospital comings and goings shows Finn has changed since coming to Port Charles. He once believed he didn’t need family, and viewers may recall that Finn didn’t want to even get to know Chase when the detective first showed up in Port Charles. But slowly, Chase and Finn formed a brotherly bond. But then Finn discovered that Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) was his daughter and he loves being her dad. But it has also made Finn realize that he wants to be Chase’s dad if indeed that is the case.

Gregory has no idea that his son and his wife were an item before Gregory and Jackie even met. He would be further shocked that Finn and Jackie had sex the night before Gregory and Jackie got married. As it dawns on his what the implications of this news could mean, Gregory’s health may take a downward turn. He is still recovering from Lyme Disease, and the it seems very likely that finding out Chase might be Finn’s son and not his could lead to a heart attack or a stroke. Gregory would likely eventually recover but he won’t want anything to do with either Jackie or Finn.

For Chase’s part, he won’t take the news any better. GH spoilers tease Chase has pretty much always walked the straight and narrow, but it would be easy to see a scenario where a hard drinking Chase starts living the playboy life, which may put an end to any chance Chase and Willow had of reconciling. He’ll most certainly act out for awhile, and if Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has returned to town by then, he may act on his attraction to Brook Lynn. But even if the worst case scenario happens to both Gregory and Chase, its probably best for the truth to come out.
