General Hospital Jon Lindstrom Films Upcoming Indie Feature ‘Marzipan’

Jon Lindstrom, who plays the role of Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain in “General Hospital,” has been cast in an upcoming indie drama titled “Marzipan.”
The movie began shooting at the end of July as revealed by the actor’s post on Instagram. He uploaded a photo where he introduced Reece Noi as a new friend.
He said, “some early morning movie fun with old pal Molly C. Quinn and new friend Reece Noi. @griffithobservatory #makingmovies @mollycaitlynquinn @itsreecenoi #ILoveMyJob.”
The Indie film revolves around the story of a washed-up intelligence officer who is given one last mission, which is to get close to and recruit an asset that’s connected to the Saudi royal family. As the two gets to know each other, they both discover that they have a lot of similarities. Acknowledging that they are both lonely, the pair develops a unique bond and promises to leave their problematic lives together.
Marzipan’s Cast and Crew
The troubled intelligence officer will be portrayed by Tamara Taylor, who’s known for her role as Dr. Camille Saroyan in the popular TV series “Bones.” The Indie film also features Reece Noir as Camden, whom viewers may recall as Mossador in “Game of Thrones.” Camden is the asset that Taylor has been tasked to recruit. Lindstrom portrays the role of George, while Fred Melamed plays James and Casey Adams as Peter. Adam Christian Clark, who directed “Caroline and Jackie,” is spearheading the film. QWGmire is financing and co-producing “Marzipan,” which is their feature debut. The Indie film’s tentative release date is 2020.
Jon Robert Lindstrom has appeared on various films and television series throughout his career. His movie credits include “What Happens Next,” “How We Got Away With It,” “God’s Not Dead 2,” and “The Queen of Hollywood Boulevard.”
His other TV credits include “The Facts of Life,” “Rituals,” “Santa Barbara,” “Baywatch,” “Port Charles,” “As The World Turns,” “Blue Bloods,” “Castle,” and “True Detective.” His outstanding performance in “As The World Turns” and “General Hospital” has earned him several nominations for Daytime Emmy Awards. He was pre-nominated for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Drama Series in 2010, 2011, and 2019. He earned a nomination for the same category for both TV series in 2010 and 2019.
