General Hospital July Sweeps Explode – Valentin’s Heroics, Jason’s Deadly Showdown & Double Tragedy

General Hospital spoilers for July sweeps, which begins June 25, teases Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is making a comeback and stepping into the role of a hero.

Additionally, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be returning to Port Charles, where he is reprimanding a loved one for a very valid reason.

Predictions For Port Charles Heroes And Villains

We have predictions for the outcomes of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to start with.

Additionally, we have insights for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Plus, for Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), Valentin, Jason, and also for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

We will discuss what we anticipate during the four weeks of July sweeps, featuring dangerous villains, significant returns, romance, and the potential for at least two major deaths.

Cullum’s Bloody Death On Spoon Island

Our first prediction is that Cullum will be killed, and good riddance! Summer spoilers for GH indicate that a timely arrival gives Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) one last chance to confront Cullum, leading to a bloody showdown on Spoon Island.

This timely arrival could be Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Lucas, as they plan to rescue Josslyn, and Valentin is expected to return with Z during July sweeps as well.

Many people are now aware that Cullum is a wicked double agent.

Once Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) completes the cold fusion prototype, Cullum intends to take it and escape, but no one wants him to succeed with such a dangerous weapon.

We’d Prefer Anna Took Cullum Out, But We Can’t Have Nice Things! Cullum might be killed by Josslyn due to the spoiler about her having a chance to stop him.

Or it could be Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) if he discovers that Cullum deceived him and sent poison to his sister Britt.

We would rather see Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) be the one to eliminate him, especially after everything Cullum has done to her, including the gaslighting regarding Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and the emotional distress.

Many GH fans believe Anna deserves to be the one who takes down Cullum and leaves him six feet under.

Sidwell vs. Sonny- A Final Showdown?

Our next prediction involves a dangerous final battle between Sidwell and Sonny that leaves collateral damage; GH summer spoilers reveal this showdown puts several lives at risk.

Sources indicate that Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) could find herself caught in the crossfire, and official GH spoilers have confirmed this possibility.

According to our informant, Justine may die, and Sidwell might meet a similar fate; this seems likely, as Carlo Rota (Sidwell) and Nazneen Contractor (Justine) are married in real life, suggesting they might exit together.

Therefore, it appears Sidwell will either die or be imprisoned, signaling the departure of both characters from GH.

We need to wait and see if this unfolds; after all, it has been a while since Sonny had a love interest, and it would be unfortunate to see him single once again.

Britt Receives Life-Changing News

Our third prediction is here;  Britt returns, and Lucas informs her that she does not have Huntington’s disease.

According to the summer spoilers for GH, a significant revelation will provide Britt with a fresh start.

Currently, she believes she is facing end-stage Huntington’s, but we know that the last medication Cullum administered to her was merely saline.

However, since Cullum has poisoned the vials that Cassius has stolen and sent to Britt, there could be more to this situation.

Cullum May Have Been Spiking The Saline Now And Then With Small Amounts Of Poison

There are suspicions that Cullum has primarily been giving Britt saline, with sporadic doses of poison to keep her feeling weak and ill, preventing her from abandoning the cold fusion project.

Suspicions are that when Britt returns, Lucas will conduct tests on her and may reveal that she never had Huntington’s at all.

It’s possible that the initial test she took while on the run with Jason was a false positive, and besides, originally those tests only showed that she had the genetic markers, not the disease itself.

Alternatively, the villains might have been plotting ahead, and either Sidwell or Cullum could have tampered with the results to orchestrate Britt’s fake death incident.

Joe And Lucas-New Love Found?

In our fourth prediction, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and Lucas go on their first date. This summer, spoilers indicate that Lucas helps Joe as he searches for answers, while also facing competition for Joe’s attention.

Lately, Lucas has been running into Detective Joe Fitzpatrick frequently, and it seems they will continue to cross paths.

Lucas might assist Joe with information regarding a case; once Cullum is dead and Sidwell is either gone or dealt with, Lucas will find some closure. He will then be able to properly mourn his loss and begin to move forward in life.

Charlotte Moves In With Valentin And Carly

As for our fifth prediction, Charlotte reunites with her father Valentin and moves in with him and Carly.

General Hospital summer spoilers reveal that Charlotte is facing more issues with her mother, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), prompting her to look for new living arrangements.

Valentin has already risked his freedom to try to stop Cullum and Sidwell, and he is currently in danger of being sent back to prison for life.

It makes sense that Valentin will return during sweeps, along with the mysterious Z, and be reunited with Charlotte.

Charlotte And Her Mother Will Have A Falling Out

Given the complications with Lulu, this could link to her having revealed to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)  that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) shot Cullum.

Or it might connect to Lulu learning that Charlotte was seeing her fugitive father at Carly’s.

Before Charlotte looks for a new residence, she is staying with  Laura Collins (Genie Francis) while Dante and Lulu deal with Rocco and retreat into hiding.

Yet, we have a hunch that Charlotte might prefer to stay with Valentin, and Carly will be thrilled to have him back. She’ll urge him to move in with her and will be perfectly okay with Charlotte coming along.

Jason Confronts Danny

In our sixth prediction, Jason confronts Danny after his return on July 13th; however, he won’t initially be back in Port Charles, but it will happen soon.

Once he arrives in Port Charles and comes face to face with Danny, Jason could be quite upset if he discovers that Danny has been spreading the word that Rocco shot Cullum. That’s even  to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) his grandma, or anyone else for several reasons.

Firstly, remember that Danny had aspirations of joining the mob, which Jason would disapprove of. Additionally, there’s a well-known saying in the mob: snitches get stitches.

Jason Will Likely Chew His Son Out

Thus, Jason will be displeased that Danny was prepared to inform on Rocco in an attempt to get him released from WSB prison; secondly, Jason literally owes his life to Rocco.

Although it seemed improbable that Cullum had overpowered Jason, he had Jason on the ground and was about to kill him.

That’s when Rocco intervened and shot Cullum, saving Jason’s life-he might have even covered for Rocco regardless, that’s just the kind of person Jason is.

But since Rocco did save him, Jason certainly wouldn’t allow Rocco to face consequences.

Therefore, Jason is likely to have a few words for Danny regarding his decision to spill the beans about Rocco.

Nina Brings Jack Home To Live With Her

Our last prediction involves Nina bringing Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) home. GH spoilers for summer indicate that Nina and Jack grow closer as she defends him and keeps him safe.

We believe Nina will take Jack out of Turning Woods to help him recover from the incident where she accidentally injected him with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) paralytic.

Cullum is his medical proxy, but with him out of the picture soon, Nina is expected to care for Jack; she already wants to protect him, and many ship a romance blossoming between them. It could start while Jack is staying with Nina, ensuring he recovers well.
