General Hospital star Kirsten Storms is taking all the wins that she can get. The actress, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones on the hit ABC soap, recently shared a personal success story with her fans on social media. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

The actress took to her Instagram account to write, “.I did not have to color correct (or call you for an emergency color correction appt) and I finally *successfully* lighted my hair with Sally Beauty products.”

“Not sure why (I know why…) but since the ‘green hair disaster’ during Covid, I’ve needed to figure out how to improve the kitchen beautician skills. Still won’t attempt to do acrylic nails again. Ever. I’m holding this win in my heart for a little bit.”

Late last year, Kirsten didn’t waste any time in letting her fans and followers know where she is right now in her health battle.

She wrote, “My last appointment was with a new Neurosurgeon in St Louis. He told me that I am in the ‘gray zone’ for the aneurysm procedure. It’s not super small, but it’s not at the mandatory size.”

She also added, “Trying to see if I’m comfortable with the “wait and see if it gets worse” plan. I do know that I am not eager to hop right on the operating table. (Plz refer to my post in 2021, following my craniotomy. The pic of the back of my head will *possibly* convey why this topic is a little difficult for me to openly discuss.”

That said, it looks like 2026 is starting off with a bang (and a good one) for Kirsten as everything is definitely working in her favor.

That’s because she’s not only perfected the perfect blonde color for her hair, but her character Maxie Jones is also returning to the canvas.
