General Hospital Laura Wright Updates Fans About Hiatus

General Hospital spoilers suggest the cast and crew of the ABC soap are currently on a scheduled two-week production hiatus and a well-deserved break. So, what’s Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) up to during her vacay? We have all the details below.

Paris In The Wintertime

Wright is using her Instagram handle to update fans on her break from General Hospital. The actress uploaded some pictures on her IG Story, and the first one was of her and partner, Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter August), who is currently slated to re-appear on Days of Our Lives as Owen Kent.

Wright is sitting on Ramsey’s lap, both smiling, clearly in an airport. The caption on the photo read, “Boarding for Paris!!!!”

A few hours later, Wright uploaded another photo on her Instagram Story, of her and Ramsey in a vehicle. The caption on this pic read, “Just touched down in Amsterdam”.

The last picture on her IG Story, another few hours later, was of Wright, holding a bevy, on her own. The caption read, “Just got to the hotel, now we relax (clinking-champagne glasses emoji).”

A Nice Breather

From the looks of it, Wright is enjoying a nice vacation with the love of her life in Amsterdam. The life of a soap opera star can be hectic, especially where filming and learning lines are concerned, so it’s nice that she and Ramsey get a break from the chaos daytime drama brings to enjoy a breather.

Right now, the drama has hit the fan in the land of PC, where Carly is concerned. She’s not only gunning for her boyfriend, WSB agent, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), but she’s holding the fugitive he’s looking for in her attic.

To make matters worse, she’s aligned with said fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and the two also seem to be getting closer (wink, wink). Could Valentin and Carly cross a line sometime soon to solidify a romance? Only time will tell!
