ABC’s popular General Hospital will be hosting its annual convention the third time around in Burbank, California, on June 7 to June 9.

Being the longest running American daytime soap opera to date, not to mention its success in sharing compelling storylines and great characters, the network and its producers are braced up for celebrating its 56th anniversary this year.

Truth be told, General Hospital is one of the most admired American soap opera as it tackles social issues, such as HIV/AIDs, homosexuals, diseases, among others. With the show’s stories that resonate to every viewer from all walks of life, it is no wonder that GH has been receiving various Emmy awards

The makers of GH definitely acknowledges everyone who gave their contribution to its success. So this annual convention is just fitting, giving Creation Entertainment, ABC Network, GH Producers, and GH actors and actresses a huge reason to celebrate and give fans a unique experience.

The event organizers assure fans and attendees that they will meet all GH stars up-close and personal, Soaps.com reports. They will not oversell the tickets to avoid overcrowding, allowing the attendees to only take a glimpse on their idols, one source added.

Laura Wright, who’s playing the role of Carly Corinthos, will be the master of ceremonies. Fans may also expect the presence of their favorites, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Michelle Stafford (Nina Reeves), Roger Howarth (Franco Baldwin), Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn), Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and Maura West (Ava Jerome), among others.

Organizers have high hopes of giving their attendees an event full of fun, music, and excitement that would surely entertain everyone who comes around. As of now, fans can already purchase a Gold Weekend Package starting at $559. Other packages, including the daily admission tickets, will be available soon.
