Say it isn’t so! There’s heavy speculation suggesting that actress Nancy Lee Grahn might be leaving General Hospital after a post that she shared on social media over the weekend.
As many GH fans know, Nancy is best known for her role as Alexis Davis. She’s been on the soap for many long decades now, but not without controversy.

While Alexis has certainly caused a lot of trouble and made some very questionable decisions in this fictional town of Port Charles over the years, she’s still managed to remain as a fan favorite character.
That said, Nancy Lee Grahn herself has managed to stir the pot on more than one occasion over the years. That’s because she’s one daytime television star who is not afraid to voice her opinion, regardless of what the topic may be.
As anyone who has been following her on social media knows, a day doesn’t go by that she doesn’t criticize the current administration in the White House.
Well, now she’s done it again, suggesting that she wants to move to Canada, which might possibly mean that she could also be leaving her job at General Hospital behind, too.
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Nancy Lee Grahn?
Nancy wrote on social media, “Dear Canada, I hate my country under the Trump regime. I’m looking to escape. I’m an unattached single mom of a 27 yr old who is also unattached and single plus insanely talented.”
“We both are accepting proposals from those who are our perfect matches. You know who you are. Psychopaths and emotionally stunted men need not apply. Thank you.”
Of course, whether or not Nancy actually makes the jump and leaves California for Canada remains to be seen, but based on her post alone, it looks like she’s serious about wanting to leave her country behind once and for all.
This would certainly cause a lot of problems because there are very few soap actors that live outside of the United States and still manage to film their scenes on a weekly basis.
So far Nancy Lee Grahn herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet.

Go Nancy Lee Grahn, you live in a world where you so entitled you think yourself above normal people. You say some of the most horrible things about our country and president it’s an embarrassment that I always liked you and your character,but now I find it hard to look at you on generally hospital. Hopefully they will find a good actress to replace you, who doesn’t pretend to know how the real world is and keep your opinions to yourself.

I support Nancy Lee Grahn and wholeheartedly share her views. Our opinions are based on what we’ve lived through and what we’ve seen. If one isn’t an empathetic or compassionate person, we can’t possibly see the outright hatred being spread by the current administration. I pray that we can heal ourselves and our country.
We watch you for entertainment, not for your lies and disrespect of the government! She stood for a man that tried to take our freedom of speech and 2nd Amendment and wasn’t even able to govern as a man! Americans saw it even though those on the left tried to call American citizens bad! If she doesn’t like what is going on then, by all means, go to another country! Try South America by the border with hours of driving or get a small jet to fly in and out of CA.

Curious so many “patriots” would want a fellow American to shut their mouth over differing political ideology. I, for one, love the character of Alexis and think it would be a terrible loss for G.H. not to have Kristina, Molly, and Sam’s (R.I.P.) mother, who also happens to be a kick butt lawyer, a Cassidine, and a 30-year vet on the show.

Please, please, please Nancy LEAVE!!! I am tired of your attitude, your thinking you have that much power to tell us how to think and vote, and you just plain are not liked one tiny bit by me! Your storylines are the pits and I am tited of looking at you to the point I haven’t watched this show in months! And I don’t know if I will again either, your storylines are boring and horrible!
Many great characters have left and the show goes on. No one is indispensable. Since you chose to use your fame from the show to air your political unhappiness, you should not be surprised that many don’t share your views and by being so divisive and hateful toward our Country and the President the majority elected, it should not come as a surprise we won’t miss you in retirement.

I totally agree with freedom of speech but there is a place for it and way to do it! She is just so nasty about everything and everyone who doesn’t think like her!
