General Hospital News: ABC Plans Short Week for GH – 3 Days of Encore Episodes!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal the ABC network plans to have a very short week for the daytime drama as GH announced they will air new episodes on Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28, but the remainder of the week will be filled with encore episodes!

GH fans know that a lot has been unfolding in Port Charles right now. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is grieving for his son, Noah; completely unaware that his uncle, Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and his devious husband, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) are raising the little boy as their own. Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) may have been carted off to jail, but the ripple effect of her dastardly deeds is still felt by many.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) appears to be wrapped up in another sinister plot, as Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) continue be captives as Finn is forced to find a cure for Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). Hopefully, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) can find them soon before we end up with another villain roaming the streets of Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is unlike any woman who has been scorned before. She just got Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) suspended. She threatened her own daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) by assuring her she will never see her little sister, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) again. Viewers can be sure there are plenty of other people who will feel her wrath!

With so much happening, it is a bit surprising to hear the ABC soap opera won’t be airing for the full week, and as of right now, there is no explanation as to why.
