General Hospital News: ABC Soap Preempted September 2 – Labor Day Schedule

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)

General Hospital spoilers tease that an encore episode of GH will air on Labor Day, September 2nd and instead of a new GH, the episode from May 6 2019 will air in its place. Nothing different has been released for the Canadian market, so Canadian viewers will likely see the same encore episode as viewers in the United States. New episodes will resume Tuesday, September 3rd.

General Hospital Spoilers – This Is The Episode Where Willow Tait Turned The Tide By Telling Her Experiences To Kristina Corinthos-Davis

The episode being shown is the one where Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) was being deprogrammed from the Dawn of Day cult by Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) and being kept in one of the Corinthos safe houses with her family members by her side for support and help. Kristina’s brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had talked to his close friend Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about Kristina’s deprogramming and how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), his uncle, had broken into the Dawn of Day house and rescued Kristina before the initiation, which included being drugged and raped by Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) could be completed.

Willow had previously told both Michael and her boyfriend, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that she had escaped the cult. Willow offered to tell her experiences to Kristina “so that she could make an informed choice” before going back to Shiloh and completing her initiation into his “inner circle” – basically a harem! As viewers will recall, this turned the tide in Kristina’s deprogramming and broke her away from Shiloh and the Dawn of Day!

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Found Peace That Robin Scorpio-Drake Really Is Her Daughter

Also in this episode, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also found peace after finding some proof that Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) really was her and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) daughter, and she was not just remembering the memories of her twin sister Alexandra Marick (Finola Hughes), which was Anna’s worst fear after finding out she and Alex had been Patients One and Two in a memory transfer study years ago.

She told her boyfriend, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that she didn’t have to worry about that particular thing anymore. The problem had been, each twin had some of the other one’s memories and Anna was also troubled that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was Alex’s and not really hers, as she had remembered and kept secret for years. Anna will soon return from visiting Alexandra, which she had done so that the two of them could spend some time together to try to figure out whose memories were whose.

General Hospital Spoilers – Other Things That Happened In This Episode
