General Hospital News: Briana Lane’s Exciting New Gig

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Briana Lane has exited her temporary role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine in the fictional town of Port Charles, NY. She had taken over the role while Amanda Setton was on maternity leave.

Setton will be seen again following BLQ’s departure to Brooklyn to stay with her mom and figure things after getting slashed in the throat by a crazed maniac, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nelle is presumed dead but perhaps BLQ can do some sleuthing and figure the whole sordid truth ou ?

General Hospital Spoilers – Briana Lane has exited her temporary role on the ABC sudser

Briana Lane’s post Port Charles project is a role in the comedy short Terrordactyl: Extinction USA. The short has a release date of February 5, 2021 so fans won’t have to wait too long to see the beautiful and talented actress in action again.

According to IMDb, the show has quite a fantastic storyline, as befits its sensational title. Apparently in the movie there is crazed pterodactyl on the loose, “during the World’s Largest Hot Air Balloon festival.”

Lane stars as Dr. Rachel, and other actors include This Is Us alum Catlin Thompson as Tanya, Tony Cavalero as Dr. Scientist MD Attorney At Law, and Johnny Loquasto as Phil Mabloom.

Fans last saw Lane onscreen in Port Chuck on November 16, 2020. During her run Lane hit it out of the park as BLQ was involved in more excitement in a few days than most characters got in the whole year. First, the sly singer sold her ELQ shares to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

In her defense she thought she was being helpful but her dad Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) knew she had just made a major mistake. He blew his top when he found out and kicked her out of the house.

Then Brook Lynn tried to thwart Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) plan to kidnap her son and Nelle slashed her throat with a pair of scissors. Brook Lynn’s vocal cords were damaged ending her singing career.
