October 3 marked Hayley Erin’s last day on “General Hospital.” It was the time when she taped the death of her character, Kiki Jerome, on the show. The actress tweeted a photo of her lying down as she filmed scenes for her character’s death and captioned, “A year ago today.” So, what has she been up to since leaving the show?
General Hospital Spoilers – The Perfectionist Cancelled After One Season
Viewers may recall that the actress left the show to star in the prime time series “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” Unfortunately, the spinoff of the highly rated “Pretty Little Liars” didn’t meet the numbers, which is why it was canceled by Freeform after just one season.
Erin has not commented on the cancellation of the show but took to social media to thank her fans for all their support. “It’s been a long year. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your continued support, fam.”
GH Spoilers – Fans Call For Erin’s Return To General Hospital
After the news broke that “The Perfectionist” has not been renewed for another season, fans of Erin has called for her return to “General Hospital” even though they know very well that her character was killed off. Back in August, Ava Jerome (Maura West) had a vision of her dead daughter. But that was it. The show hasn’t hinted about Erin’s possible return.
The 25-year-old actress joined the show back in 2015, and she instantly became a fan favorite after her debut. She worked well with her on-screen mom Maura West, even though their characters have always been at odds with each other. Erin exited the show after her character was killed off by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
One fan believed that Kiki faked her death and even gave quite a compelling reason for it.
“Soo with #PLLThePerfectionists ending, can we expect @HayleyErin to return to #GH as Kiki?? @valentinifrank @MichelleAltman1 Maybe she faked her death because she found out Nina @watroswatros is her REAL mom?! Lol I would LOVE that and to see her return in ANY capacity.”
Although “The Perfectionist” has been canceled and there’s no news as to whether she’ll return to “General Hospital,” with her talent and skills, surely she’ll have new projects lined up for her.
