The actress who plays Kristina Corinthos-Davis posted the sad news on Instagram that her close friend, Harry Hains, 27, had died.

Lexi Ainsworth, who plays the role of Kristina Corinthos-Davis on “General Hospital” recently posted sad news. She is in mourning for a dear and close friend, Harry Hains.

Lexi is best known for her role as Kristina on “General Hospital.” In fact, the actress earned an Emmy nomination for her part of the soap when she was just 17. According to her IMDB profile, Lexi also guest-starred on a couple of occasions on the popular TV series “Gilmore Girls,” as well as other roles.

General Hospital News – Lexi Ainsworth’s friend passes away at the age of 27

Ainsworth headed to Instagram on January 9 to make a post about the loss of her dear friend Harry Hains. Tragically, Hains had died on January 8, only weeks after he celebrated his 27th birthday. Lexi didn’t mention what had happened to cause Harry to pass away, but it does sound like he had been suffering for some time.

In her Instagram post, Lexi wrote, “May you finally be able to Rest in Peace.” She continued her comment by saying, “We will all miss the light you brought into our lives.”

The Mirror reports that the actor, who starred in “American Horror Story: Hotel,” had been suffering with mental illness, as well as drug addiction. His mother, Jane Badler (“Neighbours”) confirmed this on Instagram, saying that Harry was only 27 and “had the world at his feet,” going on to mention his struggle with mental illness and drug addiction. Badler wrote that she will miss Harry every day of her life. In another post, Jane invited his fans and friends to his funeral, which will be held at Hollywood Forever on Sunday, January 12.

Harry was born in Melbourne in Australia and eventually moved to Los Angeles, where he is known internationally as a television actor and model. Hains has featured in a number of television shows, including “American Horror Story: Hotel” and the enigmatic Netflix sci-fi series “The OA.” He also featured as a model in various fashion magazines.

Earlier this month, Hains had reportedly spoken excitedly about the various plans he had for 2020, which makes the news even more tragic. Harry is survived by his parents, Jane Badler and Stephen Hains and his brother, Sam Gains.
