Equal Standard is about a group of New York City police officers and how their lives collide in interweaving stories of race, rank, loss, and betrayal. The film also stars Robert Clohessy, Fredro Starr, Tobias Truvillion, Anthony ‘Treach’ Criss, and more.
According to reports, Maurice will be pulling in a lot of double duty in the coming weeks. After all, he’s got a major storyline on General Hospital, which means that he has to be in Los Angeles to film his episodes. But at the same time, he’ll be traveling back and forth from both coasts to film his scenes for Equal Standard.

This might seem like a lot of work, but for a veteran actor like Maurice Benard, he’s done all of this before. After all, he’s filmed several different movies in just the last two years.
He recently completed work on the upcoming film Nightmare Cinema. Last year he was also in Hold On, A Lover Betrayed, The Ghost and The Whale, Joy, Confession and the television series Castle.
So far no release date has been set for Equal Standard. In the meantime, don’t forget that General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
