General Hospital News: Ryan Carnes Gets Exciting New Job

General Hospital fans will have an opportunity to see Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones) on the small screen again! That’s because the actor will soon star in a new Lifetime movie called Mommy Group Murder. Here’s what you need to know.
In the movie, which premiered on March 16th on the Lifetime network, the actor plays a character by the name of Ryan. He’s a husband that is trying to keep his family together. However, things take a turn for the worst when a mother with postpartum depression joins a local mommy group to make friends. One of the other moms get a little close to her husband and before you know it, there’s blood, gun shots, knives, and plenty of screaming!
Ryan recently told ABC Soaps in Depth in an interview, “Ryan has a wife who is dealing with postpartum depression and also recently just lost her mother. And not to mention just had a newborn child, so it’s a lot. And he really makes it a priority to make sure he’s supportive of his wife and taking care of her and make sure that things aren’t getting worse before they get better. And I think he’s maybe an unusual character in this type of film because without giving too much away, he does end up doing the right thing.”
The film also stars Days of Our Lives actress Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux). Ryan added, “I had a couple scenes with Kate. But we shot the movie in such a short period of time that we were pretty much all there on the set at the same time. We were moving really quickly. But it was a really smooth shoot. The crew was one of the best crews that I’ve ever worked with. Everybody worked together really well.”

In addition to his role on Mommy Group Murder, the handsome actor also has two projects in the pipeline: Children of Moloch and Acceleration. Of course, fans can also continue to catch a glimpse of him on daytime television. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.

I would be happy to have that storyline to be done and over and Michael get his son back. Brad needs to confess to his husband and deal with the consequences.
Brad and Kristina need to be put in a box together and sent on a reflection vacation and return to PC different individuals. Seems neither will change their ways regardless of what occurs in their lives. Both Brad and Kristina need to have an ah ha moment and say to themselves – been there done that – can’t travel that road again.
Yes, but I would rather see more of Robert. He is only shown in less that a minute scenes, not enough for me. At the end of today’s show (Wed.) He burst in at the last minute. The only good thing –it wasn’t Jason.
It’s good to see Robert for even a minute or two – brings back memories. As Robert is only used for short stints, there is no one else but Jason to save the day for any character that needs assistance. As of this time no other character is written to be a savior for the people of PC and that leaves Jason to carry the cape for truth, justice, and the American way. LOL
More of Lucas sounds good, but allow to rid himself of Brad, he just can’t do the right thing continually – Brad seems to always for one reason or another slip back into his old ways.
Doom and Gloom. He and criminal Brad can both go.
