General Hospital spoilers reveal the exciting news that Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones) has a new project and it’s one his fans are sure to love. The GH hunk just wrapped up a shoot for a new Christmas movie called Cupid for Christmas.

We haven’t seen him too much in the halls of GH lately, so having a movie with him in it to look forward to, will be music to fans’ ears.

So, What is Ryan’s new project all about? The delightfully sounding film, “A Cupid for Christmas,” is all about Cupid!

As the movie unfolds we get to see that poor, hard-working Cupid never ever gets a day off in his busy schedule. The poor thing must work weekends, holidays and even on Christmas. Cupid is tired and needs a change so he plans to retire from the love business so that he can finally enjoy Christmas.

But before he can do that he needs a replacement. Will it be his protégé Ruby? The role is played by Melanie Stone, but unfortunately Ruby has a poor track record. She is way too emotional and has a bad record for originating love connections.

But she gets one last chance to prove herself as a worthy successor to Cupid. Here’s the deal: Ruby must find love for the most romantically hopeless person in existence, Ryan Carnes’ character. If she can help this poor fellow find love, and by Christmastime, she gets her dream job. Can she pull it off?

Cupid for Christmas was directed by Blayne Weaver and Patricia Harrington wrote the script. Along with Ryan, the cast includes Richard Kind as Cupid, Ryan Carnes as Charlie, Cocoa Brown, Melanie Stone, and Natasha Benham. It is hoped that the movie will be on screens this year.

We are hoping to see more of Lucas on GH this year, as well. His ex Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is in jail and it would seem that Lucas is laying low while he nurses his broken heart. Let us know GH fans, do you have a favorite Lucas Jones plot?
