General Hospital News: Sebastian Roché Is Headed To Primetime – Hot New Job!

General Hospital News: Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché)Former “General Hospital” cast member, Sebastian Roché, is returning to CW for a recurring role in a new TV series called “Batwoman.” Roché will be working with Ruby Rose, who’s taking on the lead role, as well as Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Rachel Skarsten and Dougray Scott.

There’s no news yet as to when he’ll make his first appearance on the show so viewers have to tune in for updates. The DC Comics character was created by Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid, and Keith Giffen.

Roché is best known for his role as Mikael Mikaelson, the vampire slayer in the hit series “Vampire Diaries” and the original vampire in the spin-off series “The Originals.” The actor will no longer be playing the character of a blood sucking demon but instead take on an alter ego, Dr. Campbell, who’s respected in the field of philanthropy and plastic surgery.

General Hospital News –  Bruce Wayne’s Cousin New Protector Of Gotham

The DC stand-alone series focuses on Kate Kane as Batwoman. Kate is Bruce Wayne’s cousin who becomes the new protector of Gotham after Wayne’s alter-ego, Batman, disappeared.

She’s a highly trained street fighter who sweeps through the streets of Gotham to rid it of all criminal activities. “Batwoman” premiered on October 6 and airs every Sunday night at 8 p.m.

The character Jerry Jacks was debuted on the show by Julian Stone back in 1998 and left after over a year. The role was recast with Sebastian Roché, and he made his first appearance in 2007. At first, Roché was introduced as James Craig and his real identity was kept a secret for a few months. He left in 2008 and returned in 2009.

He didn’t stay that long as he left only after a few episodes. He continued his sporadic appearance from 2009 and was last seen back in 2015 when his character was sent to prison. However, it was revealed this year that his character has escaped prison. There is a chance that he’d reprise his role or the show may opt for a recast.

Roche’s acting credits include Amazon’s “Man in the High Castle,” HBO’s “The Young Pope,” National Geographic’s “Genius,” and an upcoming Netflix action pic, Michael Bay’s “6 Underground.”
