General Hospital News: Someone Wants To Stab Sonny In The Back!

We always knew that General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had just as many enemies as he does family and friends, but this is one sight that we’ve never seen before! That’s because even actor Maurice Benard knows that he needs to watch his back. Here’s what you need to know.
Maurice, who is very active on social media, recently shared a photo of him and a couple of his General Hospital co-stars including Coby Ryan McLaughlin (Shiloh Archer), Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) and Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore). Maurice captioned his photo with, “They all have my back!!! But is there one that wants to stab me in the back? #ShilohRocks #generalhospital#actor.”
Gotta love a man with a good sense of humor, right? Many of Maurice’s social media fans and followers felt the same way as the commented on the photo with, “You are all wonderful actors. I love to hate Shiloh!! Great villain,” along with, “Shiloh needs to disappear Sonny, please, his character makes me squirm. Trust no one outside of the family.”
Another fan wrote, “I’d much rather have the Shiloh storyline back than the new Drew (as much as I love Roger). Bring on the Michael Corinthos III aka baby Wiley story.”
Clearly, a lot of fans have their opinions as far as what they think should be on the daytime television show next. While there are a lot of people who would love to see Sonny get rid of Shiloh once and for all, it looks like the villain is here to stay in Port Charles. As much as people hate him, they also can’t help but tune in each and every day to find out what he’s going to do next!

With that said, we have a feeling that Sonny is going to have his plate full in the coming weeks. And that’s not because he’s trying to keep the streets of Port Charles clean while watching his own back, but because Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is expecting a very special delivery! If someone stabs Sonny in the back I would like Jason come to his rescue isn’t he the enforcer we never see them together lately just at the wedding renewal. What happened to those great mob storylines so disappointed in that and to many character have to rid them.
Karen I agree with you 100%. I loved the mob stories…Faith Rosco. The Alcazar boys, the Ruiz family, all the five families. Those were the days of action, suspense and stories that actually had an end. Oh but I’d love to see the show take a turn in that direction again. I watch GH faithfully, but truth be told, sometimes it bores me to distraction.
