GH spoilers reveal that Swickard made an announcement on Twitter. Posted on December 29, 2020, he wanted everyone to know that he was made aware that his image was being used by an extremist group. He assured everyone that he had no ties to the group and it’s very upsetting to him that this is happening.

“I was just informed that an extremist group is using a photo of me and digitally putting their logo on the shirt. I am in no way, shape or form affiliated with this group, and [the situation] is very upsetting.”

Of course, Swickard’s team is working to get the group to stop using his image immediately. We can certainly understand why the actor felt the need to address this right away and explain he was not associated with the group. He certainly did not give the extremists permission to use his image. In fact, something like this can be quite damaging to someone’s reputation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Working On Movie Sequel

General Hospital spoilers reveal that while this was shocking to learn and stressful to deal with, there are good things going on in the actor’s life. Swickard and his wife’s movie, A California Christmas, made it to number one on Netflix’s top ten list over the holidays. This was exciting news and he shared his appreciation on Instagram, but it doesn’t stop there. The couple is working on a sequel, so we will update you when there are updates on the project.

      One reason they are called extremists is that they go to extremes! But to commandeer someone's image and use it for their own nefarious purposes is particularly objectionable and low down. It is disrespectful of Mr. Swickard and indifferent to his beliefs or the potential damage to his reputation. I hope and I urge him to pursue legal remedies so that they will refrain from future transgressions of this sort.
