General Hospital News Update: GH Alum Kent King Books A New Role

ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that General Hospital alum Kent King (ex Lainey Winters) has an exciting new project to talk about. The lovely and talented actress is voicing the character of Sara Jones in Hollywood OWN’s animated comedy called Sincerely, Camille.

Sincerely, Camille was developed by Munirah Safiyah Jones. The show is described as a “key component to the network’s OWN YOUR VOTE nonpartisan get-out-the-vote initiative, the six-part original series offers a humorous, irreverent, and informative take on politics and the issues impacting Black women in the lead-up to the 2020 November election.”

The new series follows three women, Camille, Staci, and Sara, as they try to get on with their lives around the time of the 2020 presidential election. Viewers see the women addressing their personal and professional lives against the background of political times.

Each woman has a unique take on the election and on politics. As the series evolves, fans will see how the women try to get their communities involved, informed, and inspired to play a part in the election. Sincerely, Camille takes a satirical look at modern life while offering insight and social commentary on this fall’s political climate as well as the choices that Black women face.

In addition to King, the series features Kiana Thompson, Havon Baraka, Jon Bridell, Jay Devon Johnson, Harlen Ernest, JS Tate, Donna Rusch, Michelle Murphy, Ifeoluwa Adenyi, and Thando Dlomo.

General Hospital Spoilers – You Can Watch GH Alum Kent King In Sincerely, Camille

Kings’s daytime credits include playing Lainey Winters on GH as well as General Hospital: Night Shift from 2005 to 2010, Drucilla Winters on The Young and the Restless, and Imani on Port Charles.

On GH one of the first things that Dr. Louise Elaine “Lainey” Winters, MD did was to help Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) recover after suffering from a breakdown. After that, she helped those at GH who needed it.
