ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that alum Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) is back on social media and letting his fans know how he is doing these days; last November he was arrested for public intoxication in Indiana on his 47th birthday.
The former GH actor was charged with public intoxication and was jailed after his arrest. Tyler was placed in the Morgan County Jail in Indiana.
Tyler Christopher played Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital on an off/on the basis for several years before his departure. He was last seen on daytime as Stefan DiMera on NBC’s Days of Our Lives soap opera. In 2016 he won an Outstanding Lead Actor in A Drama Series Emmy for his work as Nikolas and departed the sudser a short time later. At this time Marcus Coloma is playing the part of the Cassadine prince.

Tyler posted this message on his Insta: “Coming back to California. Miss your friends. After a near-death experience in December, doesn’t matter. I’m ready to start over again and get back to work. Can’t wait to see you all!”
Tyler’s selfie is a black and white photo in which he looks healthy and fit. He has an athletic headband on and is flashing the peace sign.
One of his former costars responded with positivity to his post: Maura West who plays Ava Jerome on GH responded with a string of heart emojis.

Tyler’s fans also sent well wishes with one posting, “I am not in Cali but it’s great to see your face! Best wishes on your new adventure!” and another wrote, “Do it, buddy! Love and support from this fan.”
One fan chimed in with: “Being alone can be a good thing…. for awhile. Miss you on GH.”

Back in April, the actor posted this on social media: “The ONE place I don’t have to give a damn about the social distance from Corona or work. My mother’s burial site and the home I grew up in the background. And yes…I grew up in a cemetery. #coronavirus #jimiannbaker #heal.” The actor posted a photo of his mother’s headstone; she passed away in 2016.
Tyler didn’t specify whether he is coming back to California to work or simply to relocate.
