Many of the show’s cast have been posting hints and teasers about being back to work as well as fanning the flames of viewer anticipation.

General Hospital Spoilers – When Is General Hospital Returning With New Content?
If the show is filming, and the stars’ social media is suggesting just that, we may be seeing new episodes as early as the beginning of August.
Josh Swickard, who plays Harrison Chase, posted this on his Insta on July 21: “As I head back to work — and to a workplace that looks very different from before — I’m reflecting on how I spent my quarantine and what I learned.”
That tease was followed by an Insta picture two days later from Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois). On July 23 the star posted a pic of himself sitting on a yellow couch (mask in place) with the caption “Workplace moda.”
Fans assumed he was on set with one writing, “Yes!! I’m so ready for some new GH but above all, y’all stay safe!! I love you guys too much for any of you to get sick!! New episodes aren’t worth that!”
GH Spoilers – The Fans Have Been Enjoying Encore Episodes But Are Impatient For New Ones To Air
The show-stopped production in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Precautions were necessary to help preserve the health and welfare of the cast and crew but it now appears that the show is safely filming again.
The encore episodes are beginning to catch up to the present time meaning that the show is planning a launch very soon. Many believe that on Friday, July 31 the show will air the May 21 episode which means the new content begins the following Monday.
The ABC showrunners have not delivered a statement about the launch date, and as you can tell by the stars’ social media they are keeping coy about spilling any revealing details.
