Prior to her mom’s death in 2018 Laura shared a bit about her mom on social media. At one point she shared a sweet photo of her mother with the caption, “I have to post this beautiful picture of my mom just taken. My mom has emphysema and struggles every day to breathe — to walk through the house. Just to walk outside to the car is extremely difficult for her and some days it’s emotionally very difficult… and frustrating to say the least for my mom. But when the days are good, and this day looks like a good day, we need to celebrate and share! You look beautiful, Mom! I love you!”
