General Hospital News Update: Lexi Ainsworth Stars In New Lifetime Movie

ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that one lovely and talented actress Lexi Ainsworth‘s been busy, and the good news is that it means fans have another opportunity to see her in action!

Lexi Ainsworth plays Kristina Corinthos on the ABC sudser and her fans can catch her this month in a cool Lifetime movie.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Is Lexi Ainsworth’s New Project?

Lifetime is airing a selection of “obsession” movies in July and Lexi can be seen in one of them. The movie is called Obsession: Her Final Vengeance and debuts on Sunday, July 12.

Lexi portrays Bethany in the movie which was written by Melissa Cassera and directed by Curtis Crawford.

The plot of the movie involves a man who was killed in self-defense. He was killed by Madison, played by Celeste Desjardin. When we say he was killed in self-defense, we mean it! He was a bad guy who kidnapped Madison which is never a good thing.

The guy’s sister Lisa, played by Anastasia Phillips, can’t let go of her brother’s death and takes matters into her own vigilante hands.

When she discovers that Madison is participating in a trauma support group, she joins the group and befriends her. We can see where this plot is going: word to Madison, be afraid, be very afraid!

In addition to Lexi, the cast of the Lifetime movie Obsession: Her Final Vengeance also includes Travis Nelson, Kelly Hope Taylor, Ryan Bruce, and Tiffany Blom.

It will be fun seeing Lexi in her new movie as we haven’t been able to see her recently on GH. This is because the show is now showing flashback episodes after running out of original content.

The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful have followed suit and are airing encore episodes after running out of original content. The lack of content is a result of the restrictions enacted after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

General Hospital Spoilers – When Will The Show Return To The Airwaves?

The pandemic has killed hundreds of thousands of people worldwide and sickened countless others. Filming was shut down globally and only now is starting to pick back up. General Hospital is thought to begin filming again in July.
