General Hospital News Update: Marcus Coloma Talks His Bromance With Roger Howarth

ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that things are about to get ugly and complicated between Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) but the opposite is true between these two handsome and talented actors offscreen.

Marcus spoke to Soap Opera Digest recently about his offscreen relationship with Roger and revealed that the two have quite the opposite relationship from their Port Charles characters.

Does this mean that Nikolas and Franco could one day be besties? That scenario seems out of the question as both characters are hot-headed, macho, possessive types, but then again you never know what TPTB have planned for when the show comes back from a coronavirus induced hiatus!

General Hospital spoilers – Marcus Coloma Has Nothing But Praise For Costar Roger Howarth

Marcus told the magazine that working with Howarth has been fantastic and calls him a “sweet, nice, friendly guy to work with.”

He adds, “Roger is hilarious, he just makes me laugh a lot. And I believe him when I work with him.”

He enjoys working with him and says he gains inspiration from his costar, wanting to try different things and take chances the way that Roger does with dialogue.

GH Spoilers – Marcus Coloma Is The Newest Nikolas Cassadine To Hit Port Charles

Marcus has taken over the role from Tyler Christopher so the character’s reappearance in Port Charles meant getting to know the cast from scratch. Besides Roger, Marcus says that he’s had some good times with both Ingo Rademacher who plays Jasper Jacks and Maurice Benard who plays Sonny Corinthos.

He shares that Maurice was very welcoming and Ingo, “had such great advice and words of wisdom.”

What will Nikolas Cassadine be up to when the show returns from its production break—which can’t come too soon for eager fans?

Will Nikolas choose love or money in the end? For the time being, he wants to have it all, to have it both ways. That strategy seldom works, however. In the end, he will have to make a choice.
