General Hospital Poll: Should Franco Be With Liz or With Kim?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) with pre-2012 Drew Cain’s (Steve Burton) memories and personality cause both Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who is his rightful and legal wife, to be in conflict over him with her close friend Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). Kim is falling for his “inside”, so to speak, and Elizabeth wants his old “inside” instead of this bizarre mixture called “Frankendrew”! We want to know what you the General Hospital fans think; should Franco as “Frankendrew” be with Liz or with Kim?

General Hospital Spoilers – The Upside And Downside Of “Frankendrew” For Elizabeth Baldwin

The upside right now for Elizabeth, and her family, is that Franco doesn’t look any different than he did other than the way he has his hair cut and combed; but the downside is he doesn’t remember any of them or have any feelings for him. He’s like a walnut shell opened up and peanuts put inside it and it seems like never the twain shall meet! Elizabeth, of course, is trying desperately to get the old Franco back, even conspiring with her father-in-law Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to have Franco declared incompetent and have guardianship over him, Elizabeth having suggested putting him in Shadybrook until Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) or someone else could figure out how to get Franco’s own memories back.

Another option for Elizabeth, if neurologists can provide proof enough to get the memory transfer classified as a medical condition caused by unsafe experimentation is possibly get a medical power of attorney. That way she can sign for any procedures that need to be done. That would be the only way that Elizabeth would have Franco back as himself, is if he could have his own memories and personality restored. At least if he was confined to Shadybrook it would keep him from running after Kim and making himself a temptation for her! But he would be extremely upset with her trying to control him and since memory transfer is an experimental procedure affecting the mind, who’s to say that his not wanting to be anyone except Andrew Cain would cause any reversal of the procedure to fail? Plus, Franco could be a vegetable and have no memory or personality at all instead of getting his own back, as Elizabeth and others were reminded by Drew before he left for Afghanistan!

GH Spoilers – The Upside And Downside Of “Frankendrew” For Kim Nero

The glaringly obvious downside for Kim would be that what she is falling in love with, or back in love with, isn’t actually Drew Cain (formerly Billy Miller). Franco, as “Frankendrew” has his pre-2012 memories, personality and instincts but he has Franco’s body, which in essence has Kim falling in love with a sort of a ghost, even though Drew “lives” in a sense. Kim was desperate to have another baby with Drew and nearly raped him aboard the Haunted Star and would have if not interrupted!

She had asked her boyfriend Julian Jerome (William DeVry) previously, but he had declined, knowing that a new baby would not replace her lost son, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt). Franco’s body would give her Franco’s child just like Julian’s body would give her Julian’s child, not Andrew Cain’s child which is what Kim was wanting – another little Oscar or Oscarina with Drew. But, the upside is that she can take comfort, and in a sense, mutual comfort in she and Drew’s past as long as Franco has Drew’s memories and personality, and not his own.
